Mantis Shrimp
« on: June 18, 2008, 10:38:57 pm »
Ok, so I tried to recreate a Mantis Shrimp. How close did I get? I know the thorax should be a bit extended, and I find it almost impossible to capture the carapace using the CC trial version.

Whadda you think?

Just out of curiosity, is there a flattening tool in Spore? My shrimp would look better, as well as the crab I just made. Can't help but make it look chubby, when I'm aiming at a flatter, yet broad look.

It's cute, I think it looks good. I haven't seen a flattening tool, I could have used one yesterday.

nice, and no, sadly there is no way to compress the body or leg segments at this time so everything has to be a sphear :P  It would open up freedom a lot if we could though, I know I wish I could.

Yeah, there's no way right now :/
It would be awesome if we could hold down keys when using the scroll wheel to only expand/contract on the x,y, or z axis.

Nice use of color to make it look segmented.
