Huggkruka's witty title - Big Ben, Guggenheim and more!
« on: June 20, 2008, 06:59:17 am »

First critter ever! Nilsson's arm posesses the strange ability to pass through his body.

"Striding proudly over the pink fields, Suminoron is aware it's only a stumble away from total humilation." Really cool leg animation.  :)

I like the design of the Trinoda but that damn wing keeps going into the ground.

"Snack-sized, attack-sized! The Pytte hunts in enormous swarms." I'm sure no-one else has tried to create a really small creature.  :P

"Blind and dumb, this fearsome predator relies entirely on his hearing and large-caliber weapons for hunting."  Uban's my coolest one yet. Mouth doesn't really work out.  :-\

I love how the walking animation turned out on this one, Drul gallops! :)

Gravi is quite front heavy.

Watch out for Kogong's tri-horn!

"Staberines make wonderful pets. Just look at those cute eyes." Tried to make a really big one.

"The Beert needs no eyes, as it feels its environment with its many whiskers." Just playing around on this one.

"Feared throughout the Pan-Galactic Confederation for their fierce pilots, daring soldiers and the jiggly bells on their legs." Jester moves better than I'd thought.

"Tirrigarw scans the skies with his mouth-eye for low-flying birds he can snatch." The mouth-eye is hard to spot but I needed to add it to justify the weird mouth.

"Kirendan hunts smaller creatures of the undergrowth. Its spit can be used in many cocktails." The eyes are inside-out.  :-X

"Can you guess which one of the mouths that prefer vanilla ice cream?" Klephter is quite cool, I think.

Nice -- these are all pretty interesting.  My favorite ones are:

Best looking:  tie between Kogong and Klephter
Best name:  Staberines.  Ha!
Best description:  Jester.  I'd like to see this one walk too.

wow you can really see your progression from first critter to last, I love that, you picked it up fast.  I really like your use of form and color.  The descriptions make them just perfict xD

The Sladdermuch. Those springy legs animate sooo good. ;D

"Ten-time inter-system football champions."Timora has a cute look on its face.

Hydman is based on the motif of a vase.

"Some find the full-body greeting lick of the Korbato unpleasant."

"They look like big, good, strong hands, don't they?" Eyepop has issues.

"Channy enjoys a dance as much as the next guy, except more."

"A keen sense of smell virtually eliminates the junk food market on Tummin's home world."

"The amphibian Trymlin's habitat of choice is a nice airy Somerset bungalow with a two-car garage."

"On seizure-inducing planet Tig, Yrliafol is considered dull and unremarkable."

"Yoga classes not included." Bertrand Straw is the most tangled mess I've made so far, but he animates decently.

"A solitary hunter, the Ögartyron will hide in rivers for hours, waiting for prey to walk by."

"Zig is the ray of sun to wake you on a perfect summer day."

"Cynona's brain is protected by a shock-proof gel." The binocular design of the eyes is made using a two mouths turned backwards.

For some reason, I love the cynona!  Can't explain what parts makes me like it though :P.  I agree with Hydro, I remember your kazea back when I roamed these forums a couple of years ago.

Eventually I'll get the full version and then I'll do some recreations. The trial just doesn't have enough mouths to be useful.

"If you can touch the tounge of the top mouth, the Trimoupulus will become perfectly calm and friendly, or so they say."

"The Yerp is a tiny predator, eagerly scanning the lakeside for inch-long herbivores."

"Somonto has three heads. One brain focuses on practical matters, one on abstract, and one on lunch."

Not that good looking, but Pirate Uruga is assymetrical(It has one eye)!

"The long arm of the Turbadur is actually quite frail and sometimes breaks during hunting. Thankfully, it heals easily."

I love the Pytte; it looks like my creature, the Chibor, but bipedal and without an oversized spike on its back.

Maybe they'll get along. Or maybe they'll both become sentient and wage war. Either will do.

Not bad Gec! I found it so hard to recreate my fan creatures. I usaully create like 4 version before I feel I made it just right.
