Monkeygod's Menagerie
« on: June 19, 2008, 03:40:52 am »
Hello, everyone!

I know I'm not exactly the most social GSer around, but I still want to show off the stuff I made. I'm proud of what I make. They may not be the best, but as long as I'm happy with them, that's all that matters. If only I could come up with better names...

Most of the time, my motto is "Simplicity is beautiful." I don't like to clutter my creature with a lot of detail parts. Of course, since I'm using the free trial, I don't have too many said parts available to me. Anyway, I experiment more with body and limb configurations. Also, I'm trying to create as many small creatures as I can, as I think the Sporepedia needs some little guys.

I talk too much. Without further ado, here are my creatures. If you want to see my profile, just click here or click on the link in my signature. If you comment on one of mine, I
will comment on one of yours.  :)

In order of creation:

The Luclu

(In my defense, this was my very first creature, and I only had a little time with it, so it's not my most polished)

The Zzelbin

(Even with only half a body, he got the complexity meter in the red)

The Merdet

(My first real predator)

The Pusopod

(Got the idea while just fiddling around with the shapeless mass of creature clay. Made him backwards by accident the first time. I maxed out the complexity meter, unsurprisingly)

The Pubaruba

(My first attempt at a small creature. I love his eyes. I wish he could jump better)

The Keeto

(So far, the smallest I've gotten. Probably bigger than a hamster. One of my favorites, actually)

The Proto-Jesterling

(My signature creature, or at least the prototype for him that I can make with the free trial)

More to come, surely!

Thought I wouldn't play with the CC tonight, but what do you know? I made this:

The Vhletch

(Had to try at least one bit of flora, right?)

Puppy spider? I love that description! Never occured to me. Thanks for that.  :D

I don't know why you can't comment, though. Are you logged in?

Thought it would be cool to substitute three gigantic claws for hands, so here you go:

The Kvork

Starting to run out of steam. It sucks only having 25% of the parts. Still, here's another creature:

The Raorth

Yes, he's a biped, and yes, he's vaguely humanoid. I don't care. I was making him just for myself, and inadvertently made him a mime, and I couldn't NOT share!
