Ichthyostega's Spore Symposium
« on: June 17, 2008, 06:23:47 pm »
I have downloaded the free trial. So far I have to say that I was very impressed! I am getting the full version tomorrow.

Here are my creatures:

Periclitovermis

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97JSCtkLS1I" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97JSCtkLS1I</a>

Bog Dweller

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MS2UKL1n5vM" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MS2UKL1n5vM</a>

Note: This is not exactly a creature I made for Spore, but a xenobiologial concept I recreated.

Running Jellybean

Allosapien (descendant of Periclitovermis)

Squidman

Therizinosaurus

Ichthyostega

I actually really like Periclitovermis... It's simple, and that gives it a beauty that I can't really describe, lol...

Nice, but I'm partial to the "Periclitovermis". It fits my aesthetic and is simple but elegant.

Running Jellybean

Running jellybeans are cute and funny, if not delicious to the larger sweet-tooths on the planet it inhabits.

The megasquid reminds me of that big terrestrial squid in that animal planet/discovery channel thing that hypothesized about animals of the future...

Will the Allosapien be the creature you take to civ stage?

Well, that was the name of the land squid

As for the allosapien, I was just toying around with editor, modifying Periclitovermis. I would probably use something else, though I could use him sometime.

Fire-Bellied Toad

Is that based off an Earth creature? Well, even if it's not directly it winds up looking like one. Really nice.

I like Gastornis; if we make enough post-Mesozoic era prehistoric creatures, there can be a Pleistocene era planet.  :)

I didn't create Snaiad or All Tomorrows. Nemo Ramjet did. But thanks anyway.

The Gigaterramonosiga is really cool.

It is based off the choanoflagellates, specifically Monosiga.

Quite a while since I have touched this thread, and I have uploaded hundreds of creations.

I'll post the ones that I feel that are most notable.

Eryorynchosapiens

I have dressed versions of this creature, but the stupid server glitch which seems to automatically delete creatures from the server kept them from being uploaded. By the way, it wears a "captain hat" and rings on its' tail.

Giant Anteater

Tomato Frog

Silver Turtle Toad
