Martham's Meager Selection
« on: June 17, 2008, 01:57:18 pm »
I thought I'd hop on the passing bandwagon and create a "My Spore Creatures and possibly other stuff come September topic".

How about we start with my latest creation, the Obeliscus.

It walks kinda funny, but looks good in my opinion and animates fairly well with the other stuff.
Here's the downloadable version so you can see, as my Youtube uploader thing sucks!

I won't update the first post as I'll just forget, but they'll be more on the way!

My second creature is the Maghram.

Sure it's a biped, but the single eye and the horns make it quite original in my eyes.
Again, here's the creature itself, up for download as always.

And my third creature is the Rolk.

Sure the name is rubbish, but I don't really care. I think they're cute and deserve a big hug!

And the last of this update is the Robotic Operating Buddy also known as ROB.

This was really fun to make. It doesn't animate well at all, but at least it looks alright.

Aww, no responces yet. Come on guys!

Onto my next creature, my first with the full CC. It's the Armoured Corh!

This little armoured dude is one of my best so far! I love all the parts and the possibilities with them.

Update time again!

The first of this update is the Dullard Plant.

It's my best plant yet, and not only because it's my first. Made entirely of two spine segments, and limb, a foot, a mouth, grass and some leaves. I like how the leaves at the top look like a flower.
Download please!

The second creature is the Spring Lamb.

I love this one because it's a pun and it looks like it hops too. Perfect animation. Well done Maxis!
Download the PNG!

The third and final creature is the Miniscule Pothead.

It's very small and the babies look like they don't have the pot on their head. Yes, I do know that Pothead means something else.
Linkage.

Thanks you two!

Time for a few more creatures!

Firstly, I present the Red Quilled Stalk Eye.

This is also a pun name because it has Eye stalks and it has a skill of 5 in Stalking. I really like this one though.

Secondly, I present the Golden Hydriamond

This is made of gold. Due to the heavy weight it needs to hold itself up well, and that's what the large ball at the top is for. It's full of hydrogen, to make it lighter. This means it is highly explosive.

Time for a bump to post some of my new creatures.

First, we have the Speckled Graahe.

For some reason, I really love this creature. I love how the spine isn't where you would expect and that it has two mouths. I wish I knew why I think it's so cool.

Downloadable:

The Speeg is next.

This has had a few comments saying that it's cute and I agree! It's a herbivore and has the perfect defence. It looks so cute, many predators can't stand to see it in pain and leave it along. Or even better, makes it a sandwich.

Downloadable version:

The final creature is the Munchworm

This is my best no-limbed creature so far. I like the colouring and how it moves. It moves like that slinkey dog from Toy Story. Plain awesome.

Downloadable:

I'd love some critique on my creations and if you did download them, please say! I'd love to know!

You have some very nice creatures. I downloaded a couple of them and left you some comments on your Sporepedia.
Keep up the good work. :)

Those were some really nice updates! The golden helium creature is so illogical, and very creative! The Munchworm solves the mouth problem nicely, and I really like the Graahe. Reminds me of a seahorse.  :)
