Well this update is only 1 creature but i worked quite some time on this one.

It's my first realistic dinosaur a Stegosaurus.
This is a meat eating one though.
Also the eyes are a to big but i cannot get them smaller with the program.

Another dinosaur, this time the most famous one, the T-rex.
I tried my best to make his head as close as possible to reality, hope you like him.

Noice! But for the Tyrannos the tail should be straighter along the back, along its profile. Raptors generally have a upward curving tail. Is it a scavenger like it's Earthly cousin? :-p

Yes you're right, it's a bit to high.
I also wanted to make his tail somewhat longer and pointy on the end, but i can't make him longer anymore this is the limit.
What you think about his head?
I used so many small parts to get that effect, that i probably couldn't do it again if i wanted.

I don't think T-rex was solely a scavenger, it did have eyes pointed to the front, so he probably sometimes hunted as well.
I think he mainly scared off other carnivores and steal their kills to feed, but once in a while he could go hunting, depending how hungry he was i guess.  :D
To answer your question, yes this one is also mainly a scavenger like his earth like cousins. ;)

Did you use the Arm-as-a-Tail trick? It helps elongate a creature. Or did you just hit the cap? The head came out nice for the parts we have available. It's kind of hard to get the snoot to look the same, but it looks great. The eye-ridges came out really well considering the Kneecaps are a pain to work with. I hate to work with them, but love how they look.

Truthfully, I think almost all scavengers are fair-weather predators. They'll hunt when they'll need to. Heck, Hyenas are considered predators, in some circles, now.

Yes i used the arm trick, still i can't make it longer.  ???
You know it took me 3 hours only to figure out what part i could use best for his eye-ridges.  :D
Before i work on him further i will wait now until i have the full version, the basis i have now, it's only the finish what's left.

Some new ones!

3 species from the planet Sumba, located near the Gamma belt in the Galaxy Opoka!
(more info below the 3 pictures)

The Eye Tree:

Asthersnake:

Guago:

The Guago are a humanoid species that evolved from lizards.
They live near the Gamma belt in the Galaxy Opoka on the planet Sumba.
Guago's are a peaceful but also proud race, that like to hold ceremonies in honor of their gods.
They now just invented fire and the wheel and are about to discover pottery.
The question remains, will they one day become their planets dominant species?
Their main enemy's the Asthersnakes are much stronger and bigger, but they aren't so smart as Guago's.
Also Asthersnakes can reproduce up to 5 times a year while Guago's only can once every 2 years.
Still it doesn't stop the Guago's from being much more prosperous then the Asthersnakes.
The main food source of the Guago's is the Eye tree.
The eye's of these tree's are more tasty then fruit, and on top of that the roots of these walking tree's have a healing power.
Secondary food sources are fish and fruits.

This time only one movie creature.
It's a creature from one of those movies that made a real impression on me when i was a kid, i present to you...

ET The extra-Terrestrial:

It's really the best i could do with the tools available.
I'm still not very happy with the texture of it, but i do think he came out pretty nice.

BTW, thank you all for all the nice comments on my creatures, i really appreciate it!  :)

Apparently the ET wasn't a big hit here, maybe my next one is a little more known.
It's the first cartoon character that i did with the CC "Scooby doo".
He has more spots on his texture, nothing i can do about that, i tested out every texture and this is the closest to the original.
I also had to use the standard feet, i know he normally has 4 toes, but the others didn't look to good on him, at least I'm happy with the way he turned out.

Really nice! One suggestion though; try placing his eyes exactly on either edge of his mouth, and slightly increasing their size.

I really like the mouth choice though. And his posture is pretty accurate.  :)

A new update, only 5 creatures, and certainly not the best i ever made.
Reason was: i didn't had much time the last days!
But... now that i have again time to create, you can expect more updates soon!

Logan Felipe: I had the eyes at first lower, but i decided to place them higher because when it was animated the eyes came through the mouth.

Powhanson:

Tentaki:

Kwart:

Bamblam:

I love what you did with the Acconuppo's mouth! I've got to ask how you got the 3-feet-off-one-leg effect (I'm guessing from experiance that you just had 3 limbs crossing over each other, but I'm hoping from my creative side that you didn't)

Also, Great ET (I was thinking of making him earlier, and all >.>)

Oh, and I love the Kwart, but I dislike the head for some reason... I'm not sure...

Good work, and keep it up! =D

When you copy the part of the limb beneath the knee joint (lower leg + feet) and place it over the existing one with the CTRL key pressed in, you can select the joint just above the feet and drag it.
The original stays in place and the copy will move when you drag the joint.

Yeah i agree on the Kwart!
Only 3 herbivore mouths look good imo, but i want to use them all at least once.

Yes a omnivore.

I thought so! Couldn't imagine you wouldn't know it, but you never know.
I also have dozens of creatures i didn't find worth uploading.
A week ago i almost created a thread here, title was "The creatures i didn't want you to see"! :D

Okay time for a update, from now on i will also add the descriptions with the names.

Kikwa:
These strange herbivore creatures prefer to live solitary. The reason they do this is because otherwise they eat each others camouflage of their heads.

Harmonikum: side note: (i really wanted it to look better then this, but the complexity devil had a different opinion about that)
Harmonikum's do nothing else then eat and sleep, eat and sleep, eat and sleep... Oh yes i forgot to mention that they also like snacks and naps.

Doko:
The Doko's are mean vicious creatures. Some are known to make trumpet sounds with their ears to drive a enemy crazy. In the winter they feed them selfs with meat and in the summer with fruit.

I love the mouths-in-mouths thing you've got going on in these guys, and the reason the herbivours stay away from each other.

Y'know, you should probably make that thread, but make it;
"the creatures you didn't want us to see" or "the creatures you regret" or something, and make it a comunity thread.
I'd sure as hell post...

Yeah i agree on the Kwart!
Only 3 herbivore mouths look good imo, but i want to use them all at least once.

I know what you mean. I'm not a big fan of how the pig/boar mouths get that flat spot on them when you modify.

A new update!
This time i paid a lot of attention to the detail and i wanted them to look somewhat unique.

Nyanclaws: (Carnivore)
The Nyanclaws are extremely strong carnivores. They live solitary and are territorial minded. These predators are fast and are masters in stealthy approaches. On top of that they are very clever.

Yarba: (Omnivore)
Yarba's are simply said creatures that you don't want to meet. Unless you like to turn into their dinner. They are also known to eat certain plants.

Degg: (Herbivore)
Degg's are very social and gentle creatures. Not strong but always in great numbers they can be though to kill. Mainly found near forests and lakes.

Wow, great creatures! I'm sure you've been told this already, but I'm fairly new to these forums, so there... :P.

Absolutely loved ET!
