Ah, I see.... It definitely looks and animates better than the ball shape of the original...

I prefer not to edit my creatures after I've saved them, but I'll keep this in mind for my next creature....

Same here. I was just saying that you can make even the most unreasonable creatures look reasonable if you tweak or make minor redesigns. The power of this tool (the CC, that is) is amazing in that regard.

I took some license with the creature to make it better fit my preference, but I could of kept the ball relatively unchanged and moved the leg around and got it to move better. The key seems to be where the joints are placed in relation to the rest of the limb.

I have a very special post. Now, while I'd like to say i love all my creations equally, I don't. No, my favorite creation is the Skinnebug. I love it's look, the way it animates, it's personality, everything about it. After doing a bit of experimenting with the original species, I have a new type to unveil.

BEHOLD: The Warrior Skinnebug

I did my best with the trial CC to make it look warrior-y and I think I did a decent job. I plan to use this design as plans for the tribal clothes of my Skinnebug nation.

My first attempt at a two-vertebrae creature. I present the GreenStalker.

A pretty cool pair of creatures I made. Not very remarkable by themselves, but I just made them for fun.

The Yinraptor is extremely intelligent to the point that it has limited levitation powers. It is a pack-hunting carnivore that uses its superior intellect to create traps and ambushes to make up for its lack of weapons.

The opposite evolutionary branch of the Yinraptor, the Yangraptor is built for combat, and is therefore more muscular than its counterpart. Unlike their evolutionary cousins, these beasts like hunting alone, using their horn, claws and mace to kill prey.

A three creature update! All of these are part of a set I like to call "Blissmaker's Carnivore Weaklings Cause They Can't Be Herbivores Cause Blissmaker Doesn't Have The Full CC"

First up, Microfodder, a small snack for any hungry predators.

Next, the Mini Tri-Eye, who is a descendant of the thought to be extinct Tri-Eye

Last, the Yellow Striped Calapi. This is the only four legged creature of the this batch, and is therefore slightly more special. In a Special Olympics kind of way.

Another creature: The Trendalfin, although there's a typo in the sporepedia where it says Trendalfins with an "s".

Anyway Here it is

Still has fins from its time as a water creature. Their only use now is that whichever male has the biggest fins gets to mate with the female with the biggest fins.

Another creature for the fodder88 Sporecast, the Crawlen:

Uses pack-hunting to take down small prey and steal eggs from unguarded nests, using its camouflage and sneaking skills to hide from predators.

If anyone is reading this, please post, even if it's to tell me my creatures suck. The lack of feedback is killing me :(

Since no one seems to be looking at this, I think this may be one of the last creatures I make.

Anyway here it is, another fodder creature: The Desert Hornema

I think they are decent. Not too bad, but decent.  Try putting more in them, like detail parts. Just to make them look really good.

YAY SOMEONE POSTED!!!!!

Anyway, if you're talking about the recently made fodder creatures, I'm not putting in detail on purpose. I'm trying to keep them as low complexity as possible. If you're talking about the other non-fodder creatures, my creating style is such that I don't like many of the detail parts.

Try having oddly numbered legs. Or no eyes. Did you know you can use Ctrl to put a limb in the middle of another?

Yes, I know that -.-

Thing is, I can't get odd number legged or branching limbed creatures to animate correctly.

I "acquired" the full version of Spore, but Im only using the editors till I get my real copy, so here's a quick building I threw together when I was bored:

It's called "No Such Thing as 3rd Place", and is my first "joke" building. Also the first building I made that I actually saved. I meant for it to be an Entertainment building but accidentally made it a City Hall. Obviously I can't upload it to the Sporepedia, but you can download it from the image above if you wish. Bigger image below.

Not gonna ask.

The building editor is pretty good because things can be asymmetrical and can be much bigger. Plus, coloring.

Overall, for your first(I assume) building, you did better than me.
