The Incredible Hulk
« on: June 09, 2008, 07:35:12 pm »
So, anyone planning on seeing this movie? I know I am.  Unfortunately I don't think many people will watch this because of the sheer suckage of the last movie. But I think this one might actually be pretty good.

I'll probably wait until it comes out on DVD but, as long as the big green guy breaks a lot of stuff, I won't be disappointed.

I would have liked to see Eric Bana reprise his role, mostly because I'm a fan of his work. Still I have to agree trying to follow the 1st one gave me a head ache.

love Edward Norton, love Tim Roth, and the thought of a 25-minute fight scene makes me salivate...I can't wait for this...

I never liked the Hulk, he's kind of the runt of the superhero litter.

And I realize it's weird to say that considering he's huge and all, but all he does is go SMASH THINGS in his green form, which gets boring and MUST FINE CURE in human form, which is also boring.
No way dude, you're trolling me.

I just got back from seeing this movie and it was AMAZING! You should all go see it.

This year is great for the superhero movie genre.

Just saw it too. Not as great as Iron Man was, but better than the first Hulk movie. The movie has more action than story, but it manages to turn that into its advantage that works for the film. Stan Lee's cameo is...ok, a little weird, but ok.

Spoilers! I loved how the Hulk says "Hulk Smash!" in the movie. Brought back good memories. I can also see the Avengers turning into a great movie. It's time to Assseemmmbleee! End Spoilers

Well, according to gamespot, the game sucked. :(
Not surprised, but still, can't we get just ONE movie game that doesn't suck? Even better, a superhero game not based off of/released right before (or after) a movie? Possibly just based off the comics?

I really liked the movie, thought it was a lot better than the first.  The guy that played the Hulk did a really good job.   :)
My only issue was with the end, it felt kind of rushed and they didn't really seem to know what to do.  Like they wanted to leave it all open for any future movies.  I dunno, it just didn't sit right with me.

Oh, and kind of spoilers, although I'm sure everyone knows about the scene..
Tony Stark stole the whole movie, it was awesome to see him there, but it made the ending feel even more disjointed.  That's one instance where I would have prefered if it were an easter egg that played after the credits.  (I usually hate that)

Actually, there's a Hulk game on the PS2 that received raving reviews, but obviously, it had no movie tie-ins.

Amazing stuff. It'll probably be the best movie of the summer.

Just saw it myself. Nothing to say that hasn't already been said. It was great, I only wish they could have put in something after the credits like they did in Iron Man, even if it was just a blooper reel or something silly(stupid) like that.

that's exactly where they should have put the last scene in the bar...

Meh. I find post-credit scenes annoying. Having to wait for them and all. I actually like them where they were in incredible hulk. For iron man, I was too lazy to watch it in theaters, so I went to youtube or something and watched it there.

Well, I saw this today. Not the best movie I've ever seen, certainly not as good as Iron Man or Transformers, but enjoyable none the less.

Also, this is the blurb the cinema had for the movie on their website:
"While hiding out in Mongolia, the Hulk is captured by the Russians. After days of torture and tests, the Russians collect enough DNA to create the Abomination. The Hulk eventually escapes and the Russians send the Abomination to destroy him."

WTF?  ???

Wow that's funny. Do you think they watched the movie? Or maybe they were thinking of a different hulk...

I was sitting there in the theatre, waiting for the Russians to come into the movie, and they never do....
