Porable Games you're playing!
« on: March 22, 2005, 08:49:49 am »
Same as the other topic in PC Games. What are you currently playing?

About a month ago I picked up Pokemon: FireRed and I loved it, sweet naustalgia. That inspired me to give Ruby a try so I'm playing that right now (curse you Groudon!). When this doesn't suite my fancy I'm working my way through FF I & II: Dawn of Souls.

Pokemon Fire Red, and Final Fantasy Tactics: Advance.  And the two Golden Sun games are also pretty good.  Old-School 16-bit style RPG action.  I like GBA RPG's, so I'm looking forward to eventually getting Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls.

Let's see...for the GBA I've been playing a little Pokemon Sapphire. I just finished 100%-ing Kirby: And the Amazing Mirror. I've also been playing quite a bit of Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town.

Those are the ones I've played the most in the past two weeks, but I play most of my GBA games quite a  bit.

I picked up Advanced Wars 2 while I was in Moscow (idaho) and the game is great. If you loved the first one, there is no reason on earth you wouldn't like the second one.

What's the highest anyone here has gotten on the War Game, Span Island, in the first game. Mine is 998 ;D.

I do that all the time with Sami. I preffer Max though. If only i had a digital cam or something, I'd take a pick of my highscore :)

I use Colin, Kanbei, Sensei or Eagle. I dislike Max and Sami, their units' aren't balanced enough. With Colin, I try to buy as little as possible and then use his power or super power to increase my money or power the units. With Kanbei, I also buy as little as possible, usually saving up for medium tanks. With Eagle or Sensei, I buy lots of battle copters and tanks. Battle copters are cheap and annoying.

Very fun, until you beat it. Than there's not much point. Oh, by the way, how do you get in those clubhouses?

I constantly go back to Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow for the GBA and every now and then I play Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.  That's about it though.  -leeman
