Ooh!  This religion can be one of those people who say that the surface we live on is the inside of the Earth!  You know like that crazy dude!

Hmmm...  and penguins.  Penguins somewhere too.

Monkrai? Why not get ideas from IVChan? ???

I've also come up with a cosmology of my own. But its a wee bit different and it completely logically explains why things are how they are and why theres evil and free will and stuff and why some most religious leaders in their realm have half-baked answers and why theres a lot of cosmically blind people who don't believe in magic in their respective universes and why some of the cosmic leaders look inherently evil even though they're not actually inherently evil and just turned evil because they lost to a test of righteousness on their own free will. But thats an entirely different story. >.>

So your religion doesn't actually tell anyone what to do, it's just a cosmology? Individual Gods need to be fleshed out more. Why bother being good if you're only going to go somewhere that's the same as Earth anyway?

All the planets are different. Earth might be too materialistic and not spiritual enough for some people, so if those people are good on Earth, then they would ascend to a world that's more spiritual. Let's call it world 3.

If there's somebody who thinks Earth is too spiritual and not materialistic enough, they would be better off on a more materialistic planet. Let's call that world 5.

Now, if person 1 misbehaves, he'll go to world 5 and if person 2 misbehaves, he'll go to world 3.

Basically, if you behave well, you go to another world that better fits your personality to start another life in which you will be happier. If you misbehave, you will go to another world where you will not be as happy. But it's not like one world is better for everyone like the Christian conception of heaven and hell. Each world has its own advantages and disadvantages which make the "heavenly world" different for every person.

EDIT: Just made up a creation myth!

In the beginning, there was one God who created and ruled over one megaplanet called Omicron Persii. There was a war between 8 different groups on the planet based on their values that threatened to destroy all life on the planet. The god split himself up into 8 separate beings, limited his power to avoid dissention within the pantheon, and separated Omicron Persii into 8 separate homelands for each of the people. Thus were born the eight gods and the eight planets.

Interesting.  But what does your religion consider behaving and misbehaving?

Misbehave: Causing human sorrow, suffering, or pain by direct means (or indirect, if you are aware of the consequences of your indirect actions)

Behave: Causing human pleasure from direct actions (or indirect, if you are aware of the consequences of your indirect actions)

... Ok, I've been watching too much porn...

Speaking of which, if you cause human pleasure through indirect means.... does that mean sex industry workers are the best of the best? They bring pleasure to millions...

They cause Christians a lot of grief, and other people obsessed with these so called "morals".

Possibly. But then, the people that are griefed by it grief others by imposing their 'morals' on people who don't think they're all they're cracked up to be.

Understand?

But morals are good.  Morals=good.  It's the definition of morals.

The morals of a murderer are "Kill people who I deem bad!"

Are those morals good?

Didn't think so. To a lesser extent, the morals of a Muslim are "Have multiple wives!"

Do you think THOSE morals are good? Nooooo!

Moral's are in the eyes of the beholder.

But those aren't morals, those are immorals.

Not to a murderer. And not to a Muslim.
