We already have enough stickies, so I put it in the "Important Threads" sticky.

we really don't need the The Spore Omnibus and New FAQ Project (Under Construction) sticky or the Spore Forum Index sticky. Neither one has been updated recently and they both link to threads that are dead. They also don't have much up to date and still accurate information.

If memory serves I heard there's a way to toggle it, though that may have been removed.

Ah, good we can live in hope can't we?

I feel the spine limitation is a bit low too, perhap 25 or even thirty would allow better creatures (I was hoping to have one with a large tail, but ther only way of doing that is to have a small body now.)

Well size is relative...I have seen vids where you can make the parts extremly small so make a small body and other parts and then you could have a rather long tale.  In the end the video is cool...but it seems everyone gets their hands on the CC and blank on what to make, and therefor all make the same thing.

Cold feet I guess lol.  :P

And please bear in mind all: I am not knocking their creations!  I have yet to see a creature that was not cool in some way!  That is the great thing, no matter what you make, as long as you like it, it is neat.  I just wish someone would be given a preview and take the "OMG BEST WISH FOR TE SEE ON TEH CC!!1!1!1!!" list. ;)

Hey all, this is a creature creator video I just found. Not sure if any of you have seen it, but are those split limbs I'm seeing at the 6 minute mark?

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq4XgPSCF70" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq4XgPSCF70</a>

Attempt to ignore the horrible long-winded MySporePage.com ad at the end.

Yep, looks like it...

You know I don't see why you cant just string limbs off of limbs anyhow.  What I mean is instead of putting a hand or foot at the wrist/ankle joint...why not attach another arm/leg and then shorten them.  String enough and you would have a new spine or possibly tenticles?

Sorta off topic but something I was thinking about...might start a thread on it.  ???

EDIT: And yes the mysporepage.com crap is about as tried out as can be...bah! :(

One thing I notice in every video is, that the people playing with it hardly ever use the mousewheel. But if they do, they only use it on the spine. Nobody has ever used the mousewheel on an added part, may it be limbs, feet, hands, mouths, accessories etc.
That's pretty darn annoying.

On the last movie, 8:05 ish.

Do the bottom limbs have a skin attachment to the bottom of the body as well as at the joint?  Weird.

Also, these creatures with huge bodies and spindly limbs defy gravity in an off-putting way.
