K so I just bought it....how will I download through EA in 6 hours?

I think the 17th is only for free version of the SCC ?

I could be wrong though.

The 'pedia reopens as well.

No, us European folks got an email saying it's the 17th while US is the 18th.

You'll get an email from them with the link.

What's messing me up has to be the International Date Line, as when it's 18th here it's the 17th there, or  something like that, I forgot.

I don't think that EA was a world clock running.

Even though I am from Mexico I bought through the UK store
and you're getting it early in the morning while here its 8 PM , so I'll be getting it late at night.

The U.S. website says "Status:  Pre-Release Wed Jun 18 12:00:00 CDT 2008". This leads me to believe the full version won't be available for more than 24 hours. right?

Think about that one:
When you watch your time it's somewhere in the world 1 second less then 12 hours sooner, and 1 second less then 12 hours later. ;)

Folks are talking about the EA digital download as far as I know, not a physical disk version.

Seems it.

CDT = Central Daylight Time, and that's where I live. Right now, the time is 8:44 PM June 16th, so....

Why can't Americans just buy the UK version?

Because the Uk version is reserved for people living in the UK.

Kings 2:23-24 --- The Holy Bible
23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Go on up, you baldhead!" they said. "Go on up, you baldhead!" 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youth.
