Well, there's a 'download the CC' button on the spore website, but it doesn't do anything.

In other news, I can play the trial again now.

Not that mine doesn't load but i just noticed the creatures i made don't have my name on the trial version.
Just says HP_administrator, didn't noticed it before.  :(
I hope once we can sign in again the name will be displayed correctly.

"HP_administrator" is your windows xp user login name

to transfer authorship to your spore account just login to your spore account, edit the creatures with "HP_administrator" and then resave a copy. viola, they have your spore acct as author.

well I'm pretty sure that will work anyway  ;D
A gamingsteve sporecast :)  (not comprehensive at all!)

That and when you upload to the Sporepedia, it says "You are Sharing under: <Name>. Are you sure you want to share?" If you click yes it should be authored under your name.

I think we just wasted the last 5 pages trying to figure out when 00:00:00 CDT is for everyone but the people on the LOST island, as we don't know where it moved to.

Yeah I'm also sure that would work, although it will be a pain to resave them all.
I knew it was my winxp login, but i only just noticed it in the editor.
Still i hope it will do that automatically once we can login again.

BTW to be on topic: 4 hours 18 minutes to go!

If it's supposed to be released at 0:00:00 CDT, that's in 4.5 hours.

I guess this is for everyone which is odd as it won't be the 17th everywhere at 00:00:00 Central, everywhere west of Chicago it'll still be the 16th still, did they just pull a time out of their butts ?

I think the 17th is only for free version of the SCC ?

I could be wrong though.

The 'pedia reopens as well.

No, us European folks got an email saying it's the 17th while US is the 18th.

You'll get an email from them with the link.

By my calculations, if it's comming out at 0 hours GMT, then it's 5.5 hours away.

0 hours GMT was 33 minutes ago...

It's coming out 00:00:00 CDT. Not GMT.

Yes, my bad, CDT, that's what I meant.
