yes and no.

This was already aired.

This version was not.

(TV series, not movie)

Edit: strike earlier time. 2:00 pm this saturday is the correct time. I find it interesting that Lucasarts picked BT:AF to air the sneak peak at the CW cgi series.

I don't get it. Which of the Clone Wars storylines is the real one?

First they make a game prior to the release of episode II, assuming it was just canonical.

Then the animated mini series by Genndy which does contribute well on continuity right into where episode III begins.

Now we have this? Where does it fit?

Nowhere and everywhere of course! George Lucas fans will accept anything as canon so long as George Lucas makes it, even if it contradicts what he originally stated as fact!

That was a plot device, not a careless continuity error.
There's waay better examples.

Stormtroopers
-"An entire legion of my best troops awaits them".
Meanwhile, Ewoks dispatch his "best troops" with bows and arrows, rocks, and spears.
-"These, 'blast points' - too accurate for sand people. Only Imperial Stormtroopers are so precise".
Cue the scenes of stormtroopers firing as if drunk.

Droidekas
-Obi and Qui Gon act as though droidekas are invincible in episode I. These droidekas always have their shields up when standing. In the CW micro series, Obi wan kills off two of them in 2 seconds, and they never put their shields up.

On topic:

The Alien X episode sucked (or at least was very anti-climactic). it also seemed waay shorter than usual.
Anyone else note that it seemed to have a similar base plot to the CW movie? (good guys asked to rescue crimelord's offspring - also, SWEU readers may have noticed that the incursions were identical to the SW Rybets, though I may be over-analyzing). Raff looked alot like that one assistant cylon from the original BS Galactica.

As for the CW preview;
Why o why did they have to make plo koons' voice un-metallic and thus uncool? They also practically gave away a full episode plot.

(Yes, I'm double posting, and probably necro-bumping, really sorry about that)
Season 2 of the show was, strange, but otherwise, really good.
What does everyone else think of the show?
