The Vixzirs
« on: April 09, 2008, 04:16:31 pm »
Depends, really.

You see, a long, long time ago, the vixzirs were a race of things that looked like lumps including brains, with long spindly arms and legs coming out of it.  Then, they discovered that they were easily uploaded to computers, and soon they were a race of robots.  Each robot looks different.  Teenage Vixzirs (Actually ages 52-88, they have a longer lifespan than humans) tend to use this for fashion, whereas older ones use it partially for fashion and mostly for their jobs.  There is a catalogue of parts that they change like a Mr. Potatoe head doll upon a round base (The only part that is mostly the same for all, the only real differences being in personality and the fact that there are male and female bases, which can take different members of the x-series.).  Most are variations on others, and many more are specific task-doers, but here are the basics.  The Vixzir government creates standard lines but does not regulate homebrew much (government and homebrew will be discussed in future updates.)

N-series:Manipulators.  These range from giant forklifts that can lift spaceships to tiny, accurate things that can drop a pin on a daisy.
R-series:Sensors.  Different kinds sense different things.  Many teenagers prefer the R-197 to R-236 series, which detects emotions in other Vixzirs.
F-series:Weapons.  Used for self defense, criminals, and military.  Note that the F-Series only includes physical weapons-weapons that attack the other computer are the V-series.
V-series:Virus-makers to do things ranging from annoy to kill other Vixzirs.  Note that V-series can also refer to hombrew fake parts that steal money from a Vixzir's internal credit card or kill them.
G-series:Allows for energy consumption.  Necessary and all Vixzirs are given a G-1 at birth.
X-series:Reproductive series.  Odd numbers can be used by males and even numbers can be used by females.  The current standards, the X-187 and X-188, can interact with one another to produce new bases.  The sale of these is banned to Vixzirs under the age of 48 and strongly discouraged for Vixzirs under the age of 88.  However, another product- the X-1 through X-18, which simply makes Vixzirs WANT to buy more X-series products, is not banned at all.  Homebrew X-series members are fully banned by the government, though a few get by by pretending to be in the G-series.
