The first video was great. But also a good one was the appearance with Robin Williams.

What I do like is the complete evolution of the creature editor. From a textureless prototype, stitch together with ductape, to the clunky "in progress" editor (with the still very stiff creatures) that was used by Robin Williams, to now the final product which makes every piece of crap looking creature come to life.

Except maybe the NASA video, that was boss .
But the original was the second vid I saw next to the 18 min IGN vid, still the GDC 05 vid is the greatest .

I'll never forget the '05 video, but the "spoiler-ish" video might be the best. It really showed Spore working as a coherent game.

They the original GDC 05 was the best of the best. My 2nd favorite is the one where he leaves the UFO on the planet he put the monolith on.

Willosaur was my first love. When my two eyes met its three, and saw its gripping tail, I knew it was meant to be. <3

There are few people that I know that I haven't shown that video to (though it was so very long ago) simply because Spore is amazing and the knowledge of it had to be spread to everyone I knew (so they didn't think I was crazy when I was talking with people who did know about the game[they think I'm crazy anyway]). I also like the "official trailer" with a Willosaur eatting a critter that cries something that sounds like mama.

While I enjoy anything thats new, the Willosaur was the first "face" I put with the game. I hope I will run into it in September.

I have to agree with the majority here. My favorite video is the first one. It introduced me to the game, there was a strong sense of wonder from all involved, and there are quite a few memorable quotes in there. My second favorite is a fan made video, where the creator takes the original video, and compares it next to the (then) most recent footage. It's well done, and really shows how far the game has come.

Yeah, the first video is like the first time with anything: You just find yourself staring at so much new stuff that nothing else can compare. Even if it was a grainy thing at best...

I think a close second, though, is the original trailer or the GDC '07 timeline movies.
