I thought Transformers was fun from a pure action point-of-view. It was also nice to see a movie where the human (soldiers) actually do something instead of just picking their nose. So many movies just have the military doing nothing despite the fact that they would have to react.

Spiderman 3 was just awkward. The villains, the dialog, the characters (I am whiny, I am a bitch etc.) and the hole cursing down the street scene? You have to wonder how Toby Maguire manged to do it at all. I thought Sandman was cool until the last scene but Venom just seemed like he was shoehorned in to have another villain, which is probably true as Sam Raimi didn't want him in the movie in the first place.

I thought Transformers was OK when it had huge robots fighting, problem is 80% of the time it didn't. It had "Were you...masturbating?" and "no no no no no no!". Make it R-rated and level some cities and I'd watch the sequel. Shia Lebouf could die early on as well.

Spiderman 3 was just...uh. it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good in any way either. If the budget was 90% smaller it would be excusable.

...and hey, Aybraus! Guess what, most of the world agrees on your first choice! :P

I liked Spider-man 3.  It was a disappointment, compared to how great the first two were, but I didn't think it was a terrible movie.  I even enjoyed the emo scenes.  But they really needed to tone down the amount of stories taking place at once, I think the Angry Video Game Nerd said it best.  "It seemed like they had a million ideas for what to do with the movie and decided to use them all".

It would have been a much stronger movie if it just focused on Sandman, and left Venom for an inevitable sequel.

It's amazing Hollywood thinks the typical age of a high school student is roughly 22.

Also, reiterating what pretty much everyone else has said, Transformers could have been better with more space robots and less love story.

I liked Transformers for the most part, though it did have some overly banal scenes, as well as some just plain stupid parts, but for the most bit it was pretty good.  Besides, the stupid parts were such that I could yell at the characters for being morons or for pointing out inconsitencies (just like mysterious island)!

Transoformers wasnt ment to be an epic academy award stroy. It was just an action movie. And i though it was a pretty darn good one. I liked it alot.

Spiderman 3 was a dissapointment. Venom (my second favorite Spiderman Villan) was a complete joke in that movie.

If Spiderman 4 doesnt have Carnage, im done with those movies.
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Yes Transformers was mainly conceived to be an action flick.
The movie plot wasn't horrible but it wasn't up to par with todays standards :-\.

SpiderMan 3... well...I have to admit it did rock in many ways but it had MANY faults.

Negatives:

-Too many good villains
-Jealousy love story sucked
-Venom parasite a lot weaker and smaller in comparison to his comic book counter part(who cares about realism, give me a meaner and stronger Venom >:(!).
-Some roles of comic characters (Prime examply Gwen Stacey) were unnecessary or too short.

Positives:

+Very good special effects
+Actor portrayal was great (Church as Flint and more)
+Back story and plot holes covered.
+Great action.

That's my way of seeing it anyway...

I didn't mind Spider-man 3. Although I do have to agree Venom didn't quiet work. Still for the rest of the story to work in the end you needed the extra villain. With Venom Spider-man would never have been out numbered in the final battle and Harry never would have had to have a big damn hero moment to have his redemption. Possibly they could have just had some 2nd rate villain instead of venom and saved the major Spider-man rouge for his own plot. At best he might only now get an additional bit part when they create Carnage.

i like spiderman 3 but what i didnt like about it is that the whole movie is just one bad moment after another

EVERYTHING goes wrong and it makes you feel really bad and then in the end you get a little bit of happy ending

I liked Transformers it was good, but Spider-man 3 was horrible and is the worst spidey movie so far in my opinion

I enjoyed Transformers from a sit back turn off my brain and enjoy the action standpoint.

I found Spiderman to be all over the palce. The whole Sandman subplot was derailed the story. The emo Peter Parker routine was just strange. And the CGI for Venom was so bad it was distracting. The other movies had nice CG, even most of SPiderman 3. But when it came down to the last fight I was staring at the bad venom monster wondering why it looked so bad.

Well, I was watching the special features on the DVD for Spider-man 3, and things really started to make more sense..

The Director original wasn't a fan of Venom, he was basically forced to put him into the movie by the producers who knew there was a big fan outcry for him to be seen. The second problem comes from the fact it was originally supposed to be two movies, the first one would have covered Sandman, and Spidey getting the black suit, but casting it away by the end, and seeing the rise of Venom, in a build up for a fourth movie, which would have focused entirely on Venom as the villian.

So really, it was the Spider-man fans that ruined the movie.   :(  Having Spider-man 3 completely focus on Sandman, would have been perfect, in my opinion.

That would have made a huge difference for me, and most people I know. This explains why it felt like two movies. It didn't really take you anywhere it just dragged you all over the place. My only other major gripe was that venom on it's own at the end was really poorly done. I try not to find cartoony CGI distracting in a movie, but sometimes you can't help it. And for the rest of the movie the effects were excellent so seeing it so poorly done really distracted me.

And how the hell did Peter and and MJ not notice the fact that a meteorite scream down from the heavens and slam into the ground no more then 30 metres away from them? I don't care what Krakow says, spidey 3 was the most boring super hero/comic book movie I've seen thus far. Batman and Robin was more entertaining.
