The Ulvindorians

Homeworld: Ulvindor

Homeworld description: A volcanic, at times radioactive world. The atmosphere is choked by smoke, and visibility is limited. all traces of water are gone, and only around 10 stable species remain on this planet.

Natural Strengths:
1. Body covered in 3 inch thick scales, which protects them against the harsh terrain.
2. Tubelike mouth that allows them to sort of scavenge the surface, and suck up any bugs or insects lying around. (despite their technology, this is how they eat)
3. 7 fingers and strong arms, able to grab and lift massive objects easily.
4. Spiked and spearheadead tail, used for killing.
5.Telepathy
Natural Weaknesses:
1.Limited in speed because of their tail.
2.Small- 3-4 1/2 ft tall, 100 pounds.

Uniqueness: Resistant to fire, can breathe smoke,do not require water

Appearance: An Ulvindorian soldier throwing a danguroc

Government: The Ulvindorians have a very simple government, they are run by a king and the king calls all the shots. The king appoints nobles to govern the provinces, but they all truly answer to him. The king has 28 children, so plenty of heirs.

Technology: the Ulvindorians are a spacefaring civilization. They haven't explored their system yet, but they have an incredibly foritified space station. They build massive cities out of the natural steel deposits on the planet, so the planets cities look very shiny, and the buildings are of a circular shape. The primary weapon amongst Ulvindorians is the danguroc, which is a rock filled with the most radioactive, corrosive, physically detrimental concotion of dangerous sludge ever, that can kill enemies swiftly. The Ulvindorians have created launching tubes for the dangurocs, and have also made bullet sized dangurocs to put in guns. The ulvindorians buzz around space in circular nuclear powered ships.

Society: Ulvindorian society falls into the categories of nobility and non-nobility. Nobility consists of knights, their families, province goverenors, and their families, and relatives of the king, and the non-nobility is well....everyone else, mostly steel factory workers.

Personality: Many Ulvindorians are fiery, grizzly, war-mongering beings.

Life-span- 60 years, but rapid multiplication.

religion- none really

Clothing-occasionally a belt but nothing else.

weapons- Dangurocs, and Danguroc guns, basically big launching tubes, and tails.

Language- telepathy, this allows them to communicate with any being through images and thought.

I would just like to note that smoke and carbon dioxide are very different. Smoke is suspended particles of ash and other crap, while carbon dioxide is a gas.

Can't wait to see what you do with these guys.

Nice, but as Neo said, smoke and carbon dioxide are very diferent, A carbon dioxide atmostphere would be coloured red, and combustion would be improbable. Smoke on the otherhand is particles of carbon. nice design though, looks like a sliver from mtg.

btw, the plastic wrap filter in photoshop nevar looks good :P, shoulda used something like sumi-e or poster edges.
Sitting quietly waiting for spore's release....... for 2 years and counting T_T.
