If people still need a Sim made, I'm apparently capable enough. PM me with the image of the face you want me to work off of and I'll see what I can do from there.

Soon, as in "soon we'll all be playing Spore"?   :P

Yeah, it's been slow going. I'm finishing up decorating the ship in between real life things which unfortunately this week includes a death in the family. Once the ship is done, hopefully by next week, I can work on the Sims and get started. Here are some screen shots of what's going on so far:

This is the Dining room.

One of the staterooms.

The library/computer room, probably my favorite.

The Gym

I have one floor left to furnish and final touches on the rest, I'll post maps, deck plans and more photos soon. Sorry this is taking so long but hopefully it will be worth it.  :)
If anyone else wants to be in this, go ahead and sign up. I think we have more roles open for more sims.

I actually want to get started on it too but this one is more involved then the others. The character bios are also being written and they are really good. This really will be a unique version of the Sim game.

Update: This ship is 99% completed. I'm working on screen shots and maps. The roles have been written and I'm getting close to starting. I have a question for you though. I am leaving for a real cruise on April 26th for a week. If I start the story early, it will have to be paused for a week. I know you've been waiting awhile so I'm going to let you decide. Should I start the game soon and pause for a week? or wait to start when I get back? I'll put up a poll for now.

Here are a few photos, more to come:

I say you hold off, no sense in starting early and potentially rushing things to get people satisfied before you leave.

I've also decided to assign roles in a different manner. I'm going to post a list of what roles are available, by name only. You may request a certain role telling me your choice by pm or here. You should pick at least 3 starting with the one you want most. Keep in mind that each role has a pre-written biography with it. The role you receive or choose will tell you your background story. Once assigned you can't change. That is the role that you will be using when we play out this story.

I plan to move on to the Sims next to make sure I have everyone. Has everyone signed up got a Sim? If not, please post that you need help. I plan to make Slarti's and Lego's sim but I'm not sure who is left. I'll have to check the list against what I received.

so, we choose a character just by name without knowing the background story?

Correct! You choose by role actually, your name will be your forum name. You won't know the background story until you request your role. Fun eh? ;)
