La Vie En Rose

Has anyone seen this great movie? I was extremely happy when Marrion Coutillard (i think that is how you spell it) won the Academy Award for best actress. She really deserves it from this.

A quick summary: It is in French, but that wasnt hard for me, but has English subtitles. It is about this lady named Edith Piaf who grew up in the slumps of Paris right after WWI and how she started singing in the streets and was picked up by a recording producer. She started to get famous with little bumps on the way and is to this day one of Frances most famous singers.

It is definently a touching movie, and the music is great! I give it a 10/10 and is on my favorite movie list now. I advise you "Americans" to see this French film!

I Want Patience, and I Want It NOW!
