I guess that is some sort of recreational buildings. Other types might be, City Hall, Resident, Industry and... well, I guess that's enough.

health (eg. hospital), security (eg. police, firefighters), economic (eg. a market)

well, economic goes a bit with industry, I guess

I'm guessing we'll get the classic buildings from Sim City. The (R)esidential (C)ommercial and (I)ndustrial. An entertainment building of some sort (stadium). Most likely a 'town hall' central building. Not sure about power plants or defense structures.

It's probably going to be streamlined into cultural (impressive monuments, elegant structures), industrial (including farms, offices and factories), residential (both housing and 'social' structures) and military (turrets, barracks etc.)

I agree.

will you have all buildings inside the city?

In other games people get mad if you place military buildings next to their houses.

That sounds about right, but I am guessing cultural will be limited somewhat, though it will have unique improvements on your city. IE: You could make a statue of your creature, but maybe it will have a limit of 2 or 3 depending on it's size.

Industrial, of course. But for the docks, military probably.

In a video (I don't know to which occasion it was released, it belongs to the promotional videos showing the different stages) you could see a ship being created and attacking a builing near the coast, outside the actual city

Maybe you can place outposts/turrets around the world as forward bases?

I think you can only bid houses inside your influence(or walls..) and you expand your walls by building structures close to the wall, thus increasing your influence. Kinda like Black and White.

You can certainly place turrents outside your main walls for defence, not to sure around the world, though.

I didn't mean around the whole world, but maybe within a certain radius around your town?
