Cool game, but the demo is to short for you to consider buying it in my opinion

I agree. Here's a method to reset the demo. It may seem like a lot of steps, but it doesn't cost that much time:
1) Go to the directory you installed Steam in, then go to steamapps/common/audiosurf;
2) Rename that directory to 'audiosurf_old' or something. Don't close the Explorer-window, we'll need it later on;
3) In Steam, right-click on the 'AudioSurf Demo'-entry, and select 'Delete local content', then select 'Delete' in the window that pops up;
4) Go to the AudioSurf page in Steam, click 'Play the demo', and select 'Install demo';
5) Immediately pause the download in the 'My Games'-list, and close Steam;
6) Go back to the 'common'-directory. Delete the 'audiosurf'-directory, and rename your 'audiosurf_old'-directory back to 'audiosurf';
7) Start Steam up. Resume the download of the AudioSurf demo. It'll quickly increase to 100 %.
8) When it's finished, start the demo up. Voilą: 4 songs remaining in demo!

If they don't prevent it, I assume it's fair game :)

Gah, is anyone getting lag spikes now that the game updated? It's almost unplayable.

Hey, just got this game, it is addicting.  I didn't even play the demo cause i wanted the OB soundtrack and figured it was worth the $10 alone, and good lord am I getting my money's worth out of this thing!

My username is Morslok, and don't expect high scores, I'm just playing for fun, not competition (which is true of most games I play).

BTW, it turns out most of the songs I like to listen to, even the ones I thought were subdued, are surprisingly energetic on this game.

You do know the Orange Box soundtrack comes with the demo too, right?

Yeah, it's really quite fun.
I haven't gotten any dethroning messages since my last run.  ;D

However, I've not played it in months.
Oh well though. I got my money's worth and more. I hope they use this tech to come up with something way cooler later on.

Yeah, this was definitely worth the price of admission.

Plus it is still fun to play every now and again when there's nothing to do.

Heh, maybe it's just me but I started playing it at 3:00AM today and I went to sleep at 8:00AM (I was playing the whole time), then I woke up at 3:00PM and went to play a bit more, I've spent quite a lot of time on it already (trying to play through the fire and flames on hard :D )

Careful, if you knock your sleeping patterns out too far and dont reset them, you'll get stuck like that. I recall a time I was barely seeing any daylight on most days, and regretting it whenever I actually had to be awake to be places. REPENT!
