I wonder if you could make a giant cow herbavour that just strips the planet of all it's foliage, thus destroying the ecosystem.  Exciting!

Either way, my epic creature of choice is a giant turtley thing.

I think we've known about Epic creatures for a while, but just didn't know they were special or unique and called Epic.

SpaceOddity has a picture of one on her blog.  You know the one?  The one of the purple tribe attacking the giant green monster with their spears...here

Hmm, from that image we can see that it may indeed be possible to fight one of these "epic" creatures in the tribal phase, also if you observe the "grass" in that image you will see it is... well.... different....

Have we seen any creature interactions with buildings yet?

All games have the standard random damage to buildings thing when you shoot a part of the building, it explodes somewhere else, how does that work for spore?? if it would realistically crumble to pieces i would plop my eyes out and eat them.

I will make a sphere with a mouth. Covered in feet. Except the mouth. Actually, its tongue will be a foot.

Yes.  I didn't want to hotlink and didn't want to host them myself.

And http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgZwMFVOXDY shows an epic creature around 3:10.

i think the great thing about spore is that it can be made into any game you want

for instance i have loved dinousaurs since i was a child, moreso when i was younger, but im still fascinated by them. theres no games where i can have freeroaming fun with dinousaurs. but now i can make epic huge dinosaurs and smaller ones, or get them from creators who are better at making them, and make giant forest planets populated by them, with small raptors and giant brachiosaurs etc

That sounds great!!!!!!!!!
Another dinosaurs lover right here. Since I was a little girl i was charmed with them, and Jurassic Park made the rest   :D

I wonder if they're all that hard to bring down, given the right weapons. I imagine that the stats of an epic'd creature would be greatly exaggerated.

I hope you can make a member of your own species epic.

Further, since you can beam one of your creatures down from your UFO and control it directly, I hope you can do the same thing with an epic version, and be entirely in control of the devastation.  ;D

Look just close enough you can see its HP count.
If I am right it's around 300 something...

Mother: By the way I'm your mother
Kid: OH GOD NO

EDIT: That's where it becomes rape if you were wondering.

Does anyone else think that maybe not all epic creatures will be aggressive? A gentle giant who accidentally tramples over crops occasionally maybe? i guess it would depend on difficulty level and ecosystem.

Giant mindless rolling blob creature anyone? (i can't be bothered to give a link to a website for info on the film)
