keeping in mind that i'm a middle-aged housewife...

1. pirates of the caribbean prequels, or sequels.  i don't even care if they suck.  more jack sparrow.  more, more, more, MORE.   ;D

2. a biopic about my great-aunt, the 1930's movie star.  she was awesome, and had the coolest actual life i've ever heard of.

3. any vehicle that brings josh holloway into the movies. he, in a western, would just kick. ass.  ;)  he could be the new clint eastwood if given the right chance.

4. movie version of the 1961 kids' novel "the phantom tollbooth" by norton juster.

5. movie version of joanne harris' novel, "gentlemen and players."

6. movie version of "the gun seller" by hugh laurie.

7. movie version of "good omens" by neil gaiman and terry pratchett.

8. two words: THE HOBBIT.  (obviously it's being bandied about but i wish they'd just DO it already...)

9. mass effect, the movie, starring clive owen as john shepherd.

10. movie about the last princess of hawaii, victoria ka’iulani...one of the saddest, most moving stories ever...would make an absolutely EPIC movie.

11. movie version of the "lymond" chronicles by dorothy dunnett.  (sadly, heath ledger would have been PERFECT for the lead.)

Oh so many.

I agree with Lego about Starship Troopers, first of, then I would like to see Alien 3 and 4. Because the Alien franchise really needs two real sequels.

Agree, and with their storylines it would be more than possible to make a good movie off of them.

What they should have done after the first. Make the movies more episodic where each is it's own self contained story. On a positive note Johnny Depp said he would be willing to do a movie about just Jack Sparrow if the script was good.


As much as I enjoyed Michael Bay's take on transformers, when I first heard about it I was hoping they would be more true to the 80's cartoon. I'm still holding on for that. Same looks like for the G.I. Joe movie.

Advent Rising was already almost like watching a movie, I wouldn't mind to see that, CG or real life would be cool I think.

There are more, but I can't think of some right now.

There is a book called 'The Wrong Stuff" about a Navy test pilot that would make a good movie.
