What's the walk tool? I still don't know how do you remove the axis after you finish a project...

I can't use Sketch-up because I can't make anything do what I want. I guess that's what I get for using AutoCAD for three years.

It's one of those camera things. It lets you walk about the house.

Cool.

I have a doubt: If you are making, say, an empty house but you make a roof, you can't get inside and model furniture and stuff?

The way I got into my little house is to just zoom in on the wall with the mousewheel. If you keep zooming in long enough, you'll go through the wall, and be inside the house. Alternatively, you can position the camera besides the wall, and use the 'Orbit'-tool to rotate through the wall, either by clicking it in the toolbar, or holding down the mousewheel.
But I'm sure there's a better way, I'm new to SketchUp too :)

Thanks, I'll try my hand at it soon. :)

I'm taking Media Arts in grade 10 next year. Is there any chance I'll be learning how to use these programs without using trial and error, or is that not until the later grades?

I'm also taking Construction (woodworking) Visual Arts, and Food-And-Nutrition. I'm cheating by taking one of my required grade 10 courses this year, so I get 4 optionals instead of 3!  :D

These guys are insane...check out the city threads here: If at first you are not impressed, jump 20-ish pages forward! Especially the Staunton one(see below). Yes, this is all Google Sketchup.
