Jk. But, it IS kind of over-powered. It says you have extra jumping prowess, when you are a 17 foot tall turtle creature. SOmething THAT big, especially with that bi of a shell has no chance of jumping high. Or at all. All I'm saying is make it a BIT more realistic. :D

In light of certain events, I have updated the system:

Body: 0 is incorporial, 10 is human, 100 is Atlas (You know, that dude in Greek myth that held up the world?)
Mind: 0 is non-sapient, 10 is human, 100 is Q and other Uber-beings.
Speed: 0 is stationary, 10 is human, 100 is instant teleportation/precognition.

Of course, this does highlight the flaw with a system like this (and why I think it's not been popular before). Any sort of quantification always leads to some people completely bypassing all rational thought and immediately making their creatures the most powerful they can think of.

The old RP standby of peer veto works quite well, I suppose. You're not going to stop fools having their fantasies but you can at least force people to be reasonable before allowing them to play.

Hmm. I might actually try this eventually, it IS rather in-depth an makes it easy to see a race's personality at a glance... I suppose whenever I reboot my thread to make i more organized that I'll use this on the front page.

Blargbell's Alien Sheet

(Section 1 -- Biology)
Type: Land-dwelling
Appearance: Cowbell-shaped, with four tentacles, one at each "corner."
Gravity preferences: Normal Earth Gravity, but is okay with higher if need be.
Temperature preferences: Tropical temperatures, but can survive at anywhere from slightly below freezing, to desert-like temperatures.
Atmosphere breathed: The Blargbells breathe in a gas that they create themselves, inside their own body.
Body cover: Moist, leathery skin with a very light covering of hair-like feathers.
Body color: Shades of yellow and gold.
Hair: Stiff, hair like feathers at the tips of tentacles, almost invisible softer hairs covering body.
Hair color: Black at the end of tentacles, multiple shades of gold an yellow everywhere else.
Eyes: A single green eye near top of body. Vision is slightly worse than human's and becuase there is only one, cannot tell distance. Its main sense is its sense of touch and hearing, which allow it to find things much better than it could with sight.
Eyes color: Bright green pupil, with very dark, swamp green for the rest of it.
Body characteristics: The Blargbell is almost completely different from a human in every aspect.
Diet: The Blargbell is mostly parasitic, but by using stomach acid it is able to digest things outside the body to suck back up later as a liquid, much like a fly.
Sexual reproduction: The Blargbell is asexual.
Reproduction method: The Blargbell reproduces at its own death. All throuch life it slowly lets out a type of gas that expands n contact with another gas that the Blargbell emits inside of a type of "badder" in its body. At death, the pores that normally let out the gas close automatically, and because the gas has nowhere to go, it explodes violently. This allows its spores to fly out, to be picked up by the wind. They will grow on rotting things (frequently its own parent's corpse) until another spore touches it. Then it will eventually grow up to be a young Blargbell.

Mass: 20 pounds on average.

Programming is like a powered-up version of Gmod. The usefulness of programs depends on how creative and skillful a particular creature is. An individual with a very low attention span and brain power will not be able to use the full potential of programming. On the other hand, a very skilled being can unleash the full strength of programming with only a moderate amount of effort. It's basically like FMA's "alchemy", only a lot harder to do.

Like alchemy, use of programs are not limited to Terran-Ixians, everyone can use them, given the fact that they possess substantial amounts of processing power. The ViS can probably perform programs, along with the other "brainy" races like Communicants. If a certain race isn't specially good at math stuff, they could always build massive computers to do it for them, TI's do it to.

Just wanna clear something up.

It's not that they're designed to overpower other critters. They're just like that. :) I mean, they are basically living breathing tanks. They shouldn't be compared to other types of creatures as humans shouldn't be compared to tanks. The closest one can compare with them to earth is this. In short they are not creature-creatures, they are warmech-creatures, designed for war. Who would make a critter designed for interplanetary genocidal war frail? Guns won't hurt them much because they're bullet-resistant. But of course, as with any tank/mech, a few anti-tank lasers will do them A LOT of damage.

I just wanted to explain something to some who feel that the TI's are unbalanced. I guess they are unbalanced :D, but not in the physical way. More on programming technology. Without it, they're just giant wrestlers from space. :D Still cool nonetheless. Anyone can learn it anyway.

Someone tried this before, it didn't end well for them.

Of course, that someone was Necro - being who he was, it was probably destined to end that way. See that you don't do the same.
