At the end of the day, which happened to be the shortest day of the year, the Elves for the first time voted unanimously to lynch Alwayswatching. He cowered in fear as they came for him. In a mad frenzy, they grabbed candy canes off the Christmas tree and stabbed at him over and over. After he was dead, they found out that Alwayswatching was originally the Naughty GRINCH but now the new MOUSE KING. Cheers went up all over the room. Santa was very happy with his elves but he was still disappointed in the ones that didn't vote. True to his word, he waved his hand and turned Rhodix and Met into powdered sugar. Met was a Tiny Tim for the Nice and Rhodix was a very naughty Gingerbreadman. He was also the very last Naughty elf.
The crisis was over and Christmas Day would be saved. Santa threw a huge party and gave the elves the day off.
"Well done everyone" as they danced and sang.
Night was upon them and Santa left to finish his sleigh packing. They heard him exclaim as he walked out of sight...
"Merry Christmas to all.. and to all a good night!!"
