Wow, I really like what I've played of the game thus far. I'm definitely going to buy this. Glad they put out the demo.

The Demo of this was more enjoyable than the entire fricken storyline of NWN2. I am getting this ASAP.

This site has the UK version available for download.  Sure it's $70 US but, there's no shipping costs involved.

Actually, no, it stops right after the "Light the candles in the shrines" quest. I had just finished the quest when it booted me back here with the promo. :D

I guess I should do the sidequests before doing that one.

My save files went to pot. They won't load any more... I'm working on it.

I am guessing that since its made in the same Engine as NWN2, it has the same save game bugs. Its really annoying.

It may have been an update and localization issue. The patcher tried to update your U.K. version with an American version patch. Has there been an update?

Ah, its one of those types of patches. Eek, if its problems that deep, it wasnt ready for release yet. It was probably rushed out the doors. By Atari Maybe? I know they pushed Obsidian a lot with NWN2.

Not that I mind too much, their cutscenes arent so painful to watch and retread as NWN2 were, making restaring bearable. With NWN2, the starting missions were so annoying and amatuerish I could only stand to go through it twice. The Witcher in comparison feels like a game I can retread over and over. Of course, I have more patience than most gamers, so your reaction may vary.  :D

I've downloaded the demo. It seems pretty fun so far, a bit difficult for my computer, and a bit confusing at times, but fun nonetheless.
By the way, is that patch for the demo too, or just for the full game? Because the demo could use a patch too :)
