Alright, it doesn't look like my computer's gonna be fixed up anytime soon. Do you guys want a literary update, which I will go back and visually update once I am able to, or should we just wait until I can update fully?

I'd be fine with just the literary section.  And I'm still willing to do some illistrating for you if need be, Oath.  No 'safe-mode' on my old compy.
Got time to kill?  Like evolution style games?  Play Progeny and want to do somelthing while waiting for an update?  Check out my own spin on it, Anabasis:

I've started writing a literary update for this. Meanwhile, here's a list of past updates, mainly for self use.

Era One
Early Era One
Mid-Era One
Late Era One

Era Two
Early Era Two

I think I've found a viable alternative to scanning. Drawing in Paint and colouring in GIMP has worked pretty good for my other evolution game, Alternate Earth, so I think I'll try my hand at that here. Sorry about this huge time gap between updates by the way, Windows computers are just damned unreliable.

It's no problem, theres nothing you could do (well nothing reasonable you could do) plus this will be a gargantuan update anyway.

Just keep chipping away at it, Oath.  As long as there is an update eventually, I'm okay.  *ponders making yet another creature just for kicks.  :P*

This didn't die, did it?

Also, NO MORE CREATURES.

I'm sure he's overworked as it is.

Nope. My computer got semi-fixed, but still not to the point where my scanner works. It will get fixed soon though, and then, we'll continue.

Ok, so is this going to be updated at some point? Is this dead? And what about Alt. Earth?

Neither of them are dead - in fact, I just verified that my scanner does work. In a convoluted, inconvenient way, but it does work. The thing is I have to plug the printer in to my laptop first, scan in there, then send it to myself so I can work on it on my PC. For some reason, the printer won't register with my computer - it will print from it, but won't scan onto it. Damn technology.

Anyways, expect an update for BOTH Progeny and Alternate Earth on the weekend. I'm busy now, working both days, but school is ending soon and my creativity level has been higher of late. ;)

Yeah, basically. I'm just too good for you guys. ;)

No, but in all seriousness, I just prefer smaller, more personal projects. Sagan 4 is still cool, I still check up on it, but there's just some things that I'd rather have in my own hands.

Well we will still be around when you get tired of your projects. ;) We welcome ya back if you get in the mood.
