I liked Jewel Staite as Catalina in "Space Cases" when i was younger. She and her imaginary friend, Suzee were my favorite character on the show.

You might as well just point out Amanda Tapping is from SG1 seeing I'm sure thats where people would know her from.

I thought it was worth pointing out that once again the cast line up for season 5 has been changed.  Not sure if this should count as spoilers or not, seeing as they aren't making any secret of this, but Carter has been replaced by Richard Woolsey, who was in a few episodes of SG-1 being played by Robert Picardo (The Doctor from Star Trek Voyager).

I think Stargate is the one TV series that has managed to successfully replace major characters without decreasing in quality or losing ratings, but I think the amount of changes Atlantis has been through is getting a little silly.

Seems they actually wanted Weir to come back, but she refused.  Not really surprising, considering they basically fired her.  But it's too bad, I really liked her.
