Does anyone know if Spore is gonna come out for Vista as well as XP, because so far ive only seen XP as the Operating System... But that might just be because Vista wasnt out (No where Near out!) When they started

It will be out for vista. all games on xp can play on vista with the exception of a few old ones. Of course, it will run slower on vista.

If it works on XP, it works on Vista. I would be worried if it was the opposite :P

That's not exactly true, most of my games run faster on Vista :D

Everything compatible with XP is supposed to be compatible with Vista........
I'm not sure why you're worrying about it.

But Vista sucks, so things that are supposed to be compatible aren't....
but there is no way to know that until the game comes out...
but they're probably testing for it because they know some people have Vista now...
Again, don't worry about it.

Yea, i wasnt really sure...
At first when Vista came out i thought it looked cool and stuff and my Dad got it for me and Him later to find it can only be installed on 1 system.... Which was Mine!
Lucky for him he didnt because Vista is the biggest Bully. Errors everywhere
I was worrying cause some of my XP Games didnt work on Vista and wasnt sure if they made it compatible.
But thanks anyway, i didnt know if i was getting all excited for a game that i couldnt even play :P
Ill See ya all around

From what I heard DirectX 9 games run considerably slower on vista.

Maybe it's because I have a DX10 gfx card, maybe it improves somrthing, but I do get higher FPS on Vista.

It's the PC's configuration and how well the game is compatible to Vista.

A PC with not a lot of RAM and a game that uses a lot of RAM will have more trouble on Vista, because Vista is a resource hog.

If you have enough resources for the game and the game doesn't have any bugs in Vista slowing it down, the game's should run about the same pace.

I got 2GB DDR400 RAM and a GeForce 8600GTS, I used fraps on both XP and Vista on games like Oblivion, etc and I do get 10-15 more FPS on Vista. Just my experience though.

I did notice a significant decrease in fps in WoW from like 60fps to 40fps.  However it has since bumped back up to 60 due to the proper nvidia drivers coming out.

from EA's point of view, i'm pretty sure they will add Vista.

It means more money.

In 3 years XP will be obsolete. That's why i bought Vista Ultimate 64bit, and it runs all my games just as smooth as XP ,also because it supports DX10 and Beyond.
Cant wait for Crysis! but more Spore!!!!!!!!

In 3 years XP will be obsolete.

Says the only guy ever that actually bought Vista Ultimate.
Seriously no offense, but you shouldn't say things you don't know anything about.

You must define "obsolete" very loosely.

Are you kidding me? im using a 1 month old Pavilion Laptop running Windows Vista Premium. It can run all my games waaay better then on my Windows XP on my dell. It can run any game i want twice as good with Direct X 9. or 10 which ever one the latest is, i downloaded it 5 minutes ago. If my big dell cant run this, the laptop can. Spore doesnt use anything fancy does it? Anti-analysing or Bloom?
