well, it wont save me ''a lot'' of work, because it rdoesn't take that much thime. its done in less than 5 minutes, depending on the length of the movie.

but this is how i do it ;):

I start by recording the right part of the movie from the screen itself. Then i use a specialized program that transforms the movie into frames. And finaly i use another program which makes an gif out of those frames.

Oh well, all the more reason for people to do it themselves, saving you at least some work ;)

That doesn't sound too difficult. And because I'm curious: which programs do you use?
