Though I've been pissed by their DLC and their general comportment in recent time I'm super excited for Imperator Rome if only to see the cool idea that was EU:Rome done for a full-fledged title.
Also, Gunner is one of the children.
It's true.

Paradox. Man oh man.

Their games are still pretty good. But they've totally gone rogue in terms of monetization, gobbling up smaller developers, and forcing bull**** data scraping overlays and subroutines into their games. It makes me not want to play any of their stuff anymore. Worse, the experience I do want... the one where Paradox isn't watching what you do, I can get by pirating their software. And so we come back around to Gabe's "service problem" argument from many moons ago.

Paradox seems to want to introduce a sort of service into their games to help us while also enriching themselves. Well I don't want to enrich Paradox any further than paying them 60 dollars for their game and paying a ridiculous fee to get their new DLC that may or may not even be worthwhile.

Paradox are no good anymore, even if their games are.

Yeah **** Paradox I agree wholeheartedly. All I have from them is Cities Skylines which I didn't realize they owned, and Crusader Kings II which I got off Humble for a dollar. Otherwise I don't support them.
