Believe it or not, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Despite being a book (supposedly) for littler kids, it's actually pretty good. My friend was horrified when he saw I was only just now starting it...

Any littler kid who has the resolve to chew through Twain's stilted prose is my hero.

Got tired of Canal Dreams by Iain Banks...so I got Diary by Chuck Pahlaniuk instead. Man what a read! I love Chuck more with every book I read from him. If you like som effed-upness and unique cynical ideas, go Pahlaniuk.  :)

Currently reading short stories by Ursula K LeGuin. I didn't know SF could be so much about sex.  ;D

I am almost done with The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, and then I really don't know what to read. I have two collections with Isaac Asimov but my mom just gave me the complete works of Shakespeare, presumably because she felt bad for me because I have been sick the last couple of days.

A Star Called Henry, by Roddy Doyle. Pretty compelling picture of Irish history.

I'm reading Jingo by Terry Pratchett, and having fun comparing it to possible future events, now that the ice caps are melting and Russia's making a run on the oil resources of the northern pole.

I agree also. But "Stranger in a Strange Land" is his best and most profound book by far.
