Political Compass
« on: July 28, 2007, 07:03:45 pm »
So, it turns out we don't have this thread already, apparently.

http://www.politicalcompass.org/

Take some time to read the site and take the test, it's quite enlightening for those who don't know much about politics, and interesting for everyone else. Post your results, if you like. It may throw some light on some of the political/economic discussions on the forums.

Me:
Economic Left/Right: 6.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.46

For comparison with the above chart, the scales run from -10 to 10 on each axis.

I think the only beef I have with this test is that there aren't any middle options or "don't know" options. Still, it's better than most other tests of its kind. I've taken the test a few times and seem to come up with results around the same area, so answers changing on mood don't seem to have too much of an effect.

A wise Surface to Air Missile once said about marrying 9 year olds in Saudi Arabia "Its pretty hard to tell if a 9 year old is going to be hot when she grows up, kids change a lot, usually, seems like a bad system. That cute little nine year old you married could end being a fat, zitty teenager."

I have to agree on the in ablitiy to put a neutral answer for some of them often I would side one way or the other but occasionally i would find my self thinking I neither agree or disagree.

Looks right to me.

Very cool, although I could have easily told you that I am one of the most liberal people here. Hell, my vote for president is going to Kucinich! My political views are an open book. :D

Life is not measured by the amount of times you fall down but by the number of times you get back up again.
