Mario Strikers Charged Friend Codes
« on: July 26, 2007, 07:27:10 pm »
In this thread we list our Mario Strikers Charged friend codes. I plan to keep this post updated with an easily accessible list of friend codes ala PHI's Wii Codes thread, so just reply or send me a PM with your code and I'll add it to the list. Since it looks like people in different regions can't play friendly matches against each other, I'll also need to know whether you're in Europe, the US or Australia (or lol Japan).

To find your Friend Code, simply log in to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection via the main menu, access your FRIEND ROSTER, and your code will be displayed at the top of the screen.

MSC Friend Codes:
US:

Eligecos: 352294 012170

Europe:
Bastardman: 343703 467221

what's the point of having another friend code list? and whatever happened to PHI anyways?

The other thread is for Wii codes. Mario Strikers uses its own Friend Codes, and I don't know.

A single consolidated list does sound like a good idea. A one stop shop for everything you may need, and you can sticky it.

How about we retool the Wii Friend Code topic?

What exactly do you mean by "we"?

Wait, so you have to exchange and enter both your hundred digit long Wii-friend and an additional code for MSC just to play the game? Seems a little bothersome, if you ask me. And how does the game rate, for anybody who's played it yet? Is it worth the buy?

No, you only have to exchange your MSC code. You don't need to have someone's Wii in your console address book to play against them.

We as in, everyone. PHI is MIA so you're obviously going to need help from a mod to crack into his topic to add your stuff.

Paranoid bastard...

It would make sense to redo the Wii Code topic. I don't think PHI will be coming back in a long time and that thread is in need of some maintanence.

Wouldn't it just be easier to post them in here? They'll probably be separated into their own thread anyway once more Wi-Fi enabled games start to appear on the Wii.

Meh... the other thread is already stickied and quite established.

As for your separation issue, that's really easy to fix. What you do is make a list of games in the first post and hyper link them to other posts in that topic which contain the lists of codes for the respective game. That's how I do the RP information stations and it works really well.

Consolidating it into one thread (PHI"s) sounds like a good idea.

There are a lot of online Wii games coming, so it'll be silly to have so many threads for every single game.

Ok. Somewhat of a (major) hiccup with the online play, guys.

When Eligecos and I tried to add each other's friend codes, the game told each of us that the codes were incorrect. I've verified that mine was correct so I can only assume this means that different region games can't play friendly matches with each other, either.

Gec, yours is a US copy of the game, right? Mine is PAL/EU. If we could get some more people with the US version of the game to try mine and/or some people with the EU version to try Eligecos' friend codes in their games, we could confirm whether this is true.

I was gonna grab it yesterday, but it wasn't in yet.  Damn you Walmart!  They're called release dates for a reason!
Nefarious?  Nearly.  Ne’er-do-well?  Never!  Neither nearly names this narrator.  Naive and knowledgeable, notorious and inscrutable, this nascent Nero is known naturally as Neoadept.

Do you think we can split the list between European and American regions?
