By the way, the creator actually considered the fact that some people might not be able to, or want to take the time to, compile their own worlds, that's why there are several available for download.

This is the link to the file for the newest world. 7.6MB

Yeah but sounds like if you dont like the way things are going u have to wait for ever again fo it do it all again.

That's one of the cool things about the game, once you make a world you'll have plenty of room for multiple attempts at fortress making, and if your fortress falls it sticks around and you can try to reclaim it from the baddies who took over, or explore it in adventure mode.  You won't have to recompile the world unless you really want to.  Got mine compiled in around 25 miuntes on an AMD athlon 64 3000+  Attempt number 101 turned out to be the magic number.  I haven't actually played the game yet, but I will definately give it a try when I have time.

I'll just pretend that the Ducks section is the start of a new story.

Ducks die when Canadians come running to ponder for horny an alien that sat in pudding of Ramen Noodles while you poke it. So that alien take the book from hell gate one hundred keys jingled in area 51. Where a radioactive crystal lived on someone’s lifting bacon fries in your kitchen floor during breakfast and it burned my Lesser toe-being from HEEELLLLLLL. So I climb down the manhole of Hell to grab my foot in the essence of Evil Bacon, for Damned Zombie do Donuts of Good Faith pee and aliens come in to give some info about Spore kittens to Marshmallows and God said, "two people will born and send the word into World Of wonders."  Walt Disney is dead like my pineapple-shaped cat poop that fall on the guy that was walking into street of death and doom.  Eating a box of chocolate hearts during a game of checkers while the apocalypse of time goes hunting the edge maze of mind control eye.  So the mutant ate waffles and maple tree sap spilt down on a floor, that was green candy from the underworld and pancake mix.  After LadyM leave the pajamas Punk on the bed while a bird was flying over canada.  She didn't call home until she went to black concrete bench and trees filled with red apples, that ridge racer vomited on the mailman doing some jumping over the hedge scraping to knees and behind of his tree that grabbed an elephant by Myiamoto's mom.  On blue ocean dogs pop-tart that exploded corousivly along a mono-molecular chicken.  Robot which watched me licking destructive radioactive Pringles lustfully.  Gayfully

(that took a little while...)

You've got to love it when developers use text speak in their game titles.  ::)

Seems to me like it wasn't just for the hell of it, since there will be 4 players cooperating to accomplish the objectives.  Hence the 4.

But yeah, this game could be pretty fun, but I was wondering if the AI "director" could also spawn Infected or just the regular zombies.  The way I read it, it kinda sounded like the Infected were already there, and the incoming players take control of the pre-existing zombies.  But it also left room for debate.

I got burned by the big W on launch day.  They told me on Friday that they would open at 7 on Sunday, but they went ahead and opened at midnight instead.  Needless to say, there weren't any left by the time I got there.  I live in Eastern/Central Maine, and none of the stores I've checked over the past week have gotten any shipments since the 19th and no one knows when they'll get a new shipment.  I feel left out.  Not to mention jealous of the people who actually managed to get one.  I thought there were going to be plenty...

Maybe this is a good place to ask, me and my brother are both getting wiis on Sunday (I hope we'll be able to find some), and I was wondering whether they will be able to communicate wirelessly with each other without a wi-fi connection.  Like, would we be able to play a multiplayer game together on separate TVs without an internet connection?

You know I never thought of that? The DS will beable to talk to the wii without a wifi network so it could be possible for a Wii to talk to another Wii in the same room. I guess it would depend on if the programmers wanted to take advantage of that. I'm sure some games might have a wireless sytem link for games like Mario Cart.

Here's hoping.  I kinda wish they had tried to do this for Red Steel, but I don't see any mention of anything other than split screen on wikipedia...  I would like nothing better than to just get high speed internet, but I live in a place that apparently hasn't left the mid 1990s.  The phone lines are aweful, too.  I can't even connect from my house to a dial up connection any faster than 26.4kbps.  Woe is me...

In the end, I decided to wait until Episode 2 comes out, if people are still saying it's good then, I'll probably spring for the season 1 fee.

If not, I might still get it anyway...  I was a big fan back in the day.

I forgot to put the URL in the initial post, which I probably should have done.  You can get the demo from there, if you don't already have it, or you can order from there:

PC Games / New Sam & Max Game

I can't believe I didn't notice this earlier!  Apparently, the first episode of Sam & Max came out on November 1st.

There will be 6 new episodes between now and May (if all goes according to plan).  The first episode is $8.95, but if you buy the whole season ahead of time, it's only $34.95 for all 6 episodes with the option of getting the whole season on a disk after it's all out for only the cost of shipping and handling.

I haven't gotten it yet, but I'm giving it serious consideration.  I've heard mostly positive things, with the exception of a few people who think the puzzles are too easy.  This episode is apparently about 2 hours long.

I was always a fan of the LucasArts adventure games like Sam & Max Hit the Road, Full Throttle, Maniac Mansion 1 & 2, and the Monkey Island series.

If anyone gets/got this, I would very much like to hear your (SPOILER FREE) impressions.

Consider becoming:
A Writer
A Prophet

Biblejunk?  Is that attempting to imply that I am a religious person?  Cause I ain't.

BTW on the first iteration I got Barbiegirl...  Yeah...

Found a new one, and it's very fun!

Protect the VIP in Black Shades:

Aim by looking down the sights of your gun, tackle people, pistol whip them, just make sure they don't get the VIP or you have to restart the level.

If it's graphics you want, look elsewhere. If you want fun, get this!

Also, there's zombies!

EDIT: The Windows install doesn't come with a readme file, so I found this in a thread on their forum and copy/pasted it to a .txt file:
