So, I need your guys help. I've looked everywhere, and tried different approaches. However, I'm still stuck.

The problem:

Minecraft.net is blocked at my work. I work at a school, but I got the ok to setup a minecraft server for some students during there off hours.
I have bought the game, and downloaded it at home on a laptop.

I can play in offline mode, and can connect to my server. But since it's offline mode you can only have "Player" and it will kick the person off is someone else tries to connect.

Now, I don't want to pirate the game. I have bought it like I said, but I need a way to change the names of the "Player" on the local server.

I have found a way to do that since the name is client side (quick memory editor).
So, all is fine, EXCEPT, the lab I work in are all macs -_-

I can't find anything, be it a good memory editor for mac, or a server mod to change the clients names.
Until they put in LAN play, I need another option.

Do you guys have any ideas? This is eventually going to turn into a tech club, so I could buy licenses for all the users. It won't do me any good if I can't get to the authentication server.

Please, I'm out of ideas. Can you guys think of anything? Thanks

How does this game work? Is it any good? Is it worth paying $18.00 for? Is there a free trial? Are these questions annoying?

• "Going Rogue" is the 3rd expansion for City of Heroes. It's a standard MMO, $15 a month.
• (I'm biased) But, yes! It's good
• Again, yes
• Yes, there is a free trial. It's very limiting (You can't even send private messages)
    It's a 7 day trial, and the max level for the trial is 14.
• Na, it's all good, The more people I can get to play the more content I get
