power of ten just in the social dynamics...

Or maybe you get to manage a colony of your micro-organisms. The origin of micro-management ;D

? Hmm, I must've forgotten that.

As long as Trogdor doesn't try to burninate to close to my Minotaurs! ;D

@ stuckin2004, it's called 'Euglena'. And protists are a perfect Earth based example of the difficulties of classification. Even Fungi was once classified as plant. This just proves that our understanding of life and the different forms it can occur in is always changing and (hopefully) progressing.

It's a possibility but I don't think it'd be very relevant in the city stages +.

Hmm. Intergalactic Empire that holds complete political and military dominance over all species within its bounds...

Sounds like fun!

Anyway this is a question about politics. And how, if it's possible, can you 'conquer' a species?

(actually, sounds a bit like StarWars...)

@ PatMan33, Who knows? more likely you can just do a gas breathing water creature, dolphin or whale style though.

I believe the ratings are based on the creature you currently (at that time) play as. If your creature requires high pressure atmosphere and sulphur couds then you have very little chance of 'terra'forming Mars completely for your creature. Venus would be perfect and Earth would be difficult.

Also vice versa with a low atmospheric pressure creature that needs cold, dry environments.

Btw, the idea of beginning the game on different types of planets is great because it'll give the player focus for whatever they're doing.

That would be really complex to affect the tide wouldn't it?

I guess the simplest way would be to have a timer set by the speed and ecliptic and declination of the moon...but still that's pretty hard in itself.

Actually, will planets have different orbits to each other? so far they all seem to be on the same plane in any given sol system.

Spore is fine. SimSpore is not quite as good.

My opinion.

Marketing will always win out :/

I believe it was actually mentioned in the demo (reiterated through the first podcast).

A possibility but I'm still betting on the editor only.
