What do people normally do with people who try and steal your horse? I send to go with a policy of roping them and hogtieing. Is there anywhere you can take the guy after that you do you just leave him for the wolves? Also anyone got an answer for my Mill Williamston question a few posts back?

The way it happened for me is that I shot the mexican president and bill pulled a gun on me and the other mexican guy, so the mexican shot bill dead. I think Bill has to die.

EDIT: I always just kill the horse thieves. i don't want to have to wait 2 or 3 minutes for another one to spawn.

First things first:

Yahtzee kind of liked it, so it must be close to perfect :D

I totally agree with you, gungnir. I wish there was a cheat or something to make Jack back into John. I'm completing a lot of the stranger missions that i ignored when i was playing the campaign and it loses something when Jack is completing his father's quests without even the admission that he's not the same guy.

Pardon the double post, but I had an idea (though it's not very realistic to the time period)

In previous games, when you recruited, people would simply join up. My idea is that instead of this system, there should be a recruiting pool for each city. The pool is made bigger by paying the army more (via a slider) or the city's patriotism. Patriotism is affected by holidays (which decrease region wealth because people don't work on holidays) or by buying celebrations (similar to Rome: Total War when you could have games). The more patriotic your city is, coupled with how much money soldiers are paid, would directly affect your recruiting pool. On the other hand, you could institute conscription, which would give you an "unlimited" recruiting pool, but would lower the quality of your soldiers.

Definitely not gonna happen, but what do you guys think?

Well, I personally like Spore. It's not even close to the game that we were told about* but it's still a good time-waster. If i hadn't been following it for 3 years before it came out, i would probably barely remember that it existed. But I think it's fun to be able to go around the galaxy and explore, and it does feel good to grow a tiny bacteria into a spacefaring empire. I've seen a lot of topics saying that this was essentially the worst game ever released, but I feel different. It was disappointing, yeah, but still good.

*i remember one video in particular his creature was walking around a very lush and diverse world, and creatures would actually approach him and all acted in a different way. He was attacked by a small animal that he explained would call its pack to take you down in an intelligent way. it looked like he was interacting with the world, instead of trying to beat it, which is basically all you can do in the final product. Does anyone know what video I'm talking about?

And remember, Israel's right to exist is still heavily  debated.

You're absolutely right. I was coming from Israel's viewpoint for some of that post, which is that they do have the right to exist.

In my opinion, if Israel is not able to exist without denying essential human rights to other nations and people, then they should not exist. Rights and well-being should always come before government.

(Why, yes, I am American! Why do you ask?)

To be fair, the Israelis are in a very tough spot. the Gaza strip is controlled by an organization that has stated that its goal is to destroy Israel and wipe it off the map. However, they've stated since then that their goal is to free Palestine from Israeli rule, but if Israel frees Palestine, then what is to keep Hamas from making their new goal to destroy Israel again? But I guess the biggest piece that I don't understand is that if Israel was able to defeat 6 powerful Arab nations at one time, why do they suddenly feel that it's necessary to capture more territory and cement more power? Especially since the UN and US would absolutely step in if there were an actual threat to her existence. (That's an actual question, feel free to answer)

But even if preventing Hamas's goals was a good policy choice, the means that Israel is using to keep Hamas under control is totally unacceptable. I read on the BBC that they only let in about 1/4 of the aid that the Palestinian people need, by UN standards. Trying to destroy a political party by starving the people who are under its control is totally indefensible.

I'm not sure how i feel about having to control an individual person this time around. I would like it a lot more if they would focus on making domestic politics more complicated, as opposed to familial politics.

Umm... It 2010 not 2006. We don't even know if thats real or just your weird reality.

no that actually happened. it was a street performer in Boston.

Army. I went to Oklahoma for training. 9 crappy weeks that don't seem so bad the second you get on the plane to come back. Weird feeling.

Sorry guys, I went to Basic Training and never really got back into checking the boards like I used to. I'll have time this semester to check back in now and again.

Also, thanks Grazony. That's it.

I've just looked all over the internet, but I can't find this video anywhere. I'll go over it from what I can remember.

It's a youtube video in which there's a bunny hopping around a field. These two kids catch it and find out that it poops fairies that make ink or something. The kids get a lot of this ink and sell it to a pawn shop, but then it turns into a bunch of bugs and essentially invades the house. It's animated, and everything is labeled. Like, every blade of grass has a little word "grass" right above it. Does anyone recall this video? Thanks.
