Everything Else / Re: Dreams

I am so sorry. :(

Dose it get any easier after 2 years? I will be coming up to 4 months soon and while I don't cry nearly as much as i did in the first few months I still do. I just wonder if that still happens after 2 years.

I know everyone is different in mourning too. It just really sucks to have to go through this now. I though i would have at least a decade or more with her. I am sure you felt the same about your dad since you are younger than I.

Again I am SO sorry and you only know how it is when you loose a parent yourself. No amount of preparation can prepare you for loosing a parent.

GD, if you don't mind me asking, but when did your dad die?

Sorry if you said before on the forum. I don't read all that much of it anymore.

I have been lucky that my unconscious mind makes me forget that my mom died when I sleep. While in the day that fact haunts me throughout the day, but at night when I sleep I don't have that worry. Even a few times I have had dreams about my mom being alive and then waking up when I realize that its not possible. In short with all the changes that have been going on since my mom went to the hospital in the first place, my dreams at least have been a safe place that has not changed and feels the same as it has always been. Even despite getting a new bed last month. I am very thankful for this since I know many people have a hard time sleeping after loosing a loved one.

I was not sure where to post this.

So as you may or may not know my mom died on April 14th 2017. I have had a lot of time to think about things, cry and remember. However in my reflection and contemplation I thought about life and death from a gamer's perspective. So here goes ...

There are no resurrection potions, no extra lives or saved games.

Life is hardcore mode with perma-death and no matter how many coins you get or loot you grab you cannot take it with you.

Your high score is determined by who you influenced and loved in your life. The Love that people had for you even after your gone is what gets you the extra bonus points.

So live your life to the fullest! Tell those you love that you do frequently! Remember those that you lost as if they were on the high score board of your own life.

For there are no cheat codes or game genies in life. And that is what makes life even more special and precious.

A series of drawings I did while staying with my mother while she was in the hospital with pneumonia. She died April 14th, 2017. These are all dedicated to her.

I have done projects like this for free for over a decade, but after my mother died in April 2017 I need to have a source of income to cover the medical bills and just living. I hope Patreon can be the help i need to keep doing what I love still. If you liked what I did back in the Pre-Spore days or just want to thank me please donate to my Patreon.

So in my walking area I usually get the following Pokemon around unless there is some special event ...

Common
- Rattata
- Pidgey
- Ekans
- Sandshrew
- Paras
- Ponyta
- Sentret
- Murkrow
- Snubbull

Rare
- Nidorina
- Nidorino
- Venonat
- Mankey
- Abra
- Geodude
- Eevee
- Hoothoot
- Ledyba
- Natu
- Teddiursa
- Houndour
- Growlithe

Very Rare
- Pidgeotto
- Arbok
- Furret
- Poliwag
- Rhyhorn
- Ariados
- Sudowoodo
- Sunkern
- Ursaring
- Slugma

Besides catching all that i need and evolving the ones I need which Pokemon should I catch? I have been catching Rattata for the small Rattata achievement thing. And Pidgeys for evolving. Are there more common ones I should be catching? Also is there any point to catching dead end Pokemon like Sudowoodo or Murkrow?

Also last year when I tired it on my sisters phone there was a lot of Oddish around but I have never even seen one using my own account.

On my normal route I have no gyms or Pokestops, but if i am low on Pokeballs I take a long route to a park which passes 3 Pokestops and has a Gym at the park. If i time it right i can visit 2 of the 3 Pokestops twice while walking my dog.

I have never gotten any coins before. How do you get them besides paying real money (which i do not want to do). Any tips about Gyms would be great since they are rather confusing.

Also I have had my pack get full before. What items are worth disguarding for space? I have been throwing away some low potions to make space for more Pokeballs and such.

So when my mom died in April I inherited her phone. And in early May I started playing Pokemon Go. I am only level 18 right now. Anyone have some tips about the game? Note I walk my eggs when I walk my dog every day. And when out with family I try to take advantage of Pokestops I see. I have only battled gyms a few times and left one Pokemon at a park gym nearby once.

I currently have caught 88 and seen 120 unique types of Pokemon. Note I have only had really experience playing the original game and watching some of the TV show back in the day. Most of Gen 2 I am not familiar with. However I have a buddy Tododile named Fitch after the the Deli of the same name I found him at.

Anywho any tips for me would be great.

Good news he was able to come home today! So basically 24 hours in the hospital. He still has some pain in his leg but they could not find anything wrong with him.

So we took my dad back to the hospital on Sunday night. He is having trouble breathing, pain in his throat and leg. Not sure whats wrong, but atleast he was brought there without having to call 911 this time.
