Everything Else / Re: What was Junior year like for you guys?
« on: February 18, 2008, 09:15:39 am »
Well I'm a junior now, and I really hate this year because of a lot of things happened to me, even all my losses.

 - Losing my girl before the year began
 - I decided to say I died after what she did to me
 - Chimaira helped me get back on the ground
 - I decided to name  myself as Snake Plissken in real life
 - Almost felt the need to commit suicide
 - Lost so many friends except sporelover66, whose a friend of mine in school
 - Taking the HSPA in March
 - Don't get the time to come here to chat

All I knew was that Valentine's Day sucks, and this is one I did NOT hear about at all. Is there an article about it on wikipedia?

Indeed, we tend to like contributors much more when they talk to us. ;)
can someone describe to me what a contributor is, amd how you pop up like that. especially as an admin or moderator?
Admin - owns and runs the site
Moderator - Chosen by the Admin to moderate the site.
Contributor - Chosen by Admin to write articles on the front page.

thanks toots, I don't get the concept of the forums here as  I did with the others, oh thats right, I was a slacker.

Jesus Christ... Well at least it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Snake you know this wasn't an original ep?, it is an unrated uncut version of the show created later after the original series. But never the less funny, crude but funny.

I figured that because it wasn't for kids. Btw, I watched the clip and they couldn't do jack about it, take that Forrest Whitaker.

Wait a second.... there isn't that much users on the forums here is what you're trying to say? ???   The forums here isn't the same as tekkenzaibatsu.com  although I was getting no where as a lone wolf.

She is saying that The TV forum is less busy then many of the other forums. Since it's less busy there are gerenally less topics. By posting TV shows by season it increases the number of topics. Since it's not a very busy forum anyway it doesn't end up flooding the board.

Hmmm got it ;)

Quote
they have an alien vision mode on their helmets.

correction, it's actually called infrared, or likely known as heat vision.
Fixed quote tag though I'm not sure where the quote is from.

If that's about the predators;
'Heat vision' is how they naturally see. They have things on their helmates to sharpen the image they see, a second mode which lets them see the electrical signals the 'aliens' give off, as they don't produce heat, nor need it to survive (or so it seems)
If it's about humans; an infrared camera isn't heat vision...

yeah, and in the second aliens movie the marines use their Infrared on their helmets, but the aliens don't show up. so you can't seen them on Infrared.

I bet they were beat.

I went ahead and stickied this for now. I think it's a good idea to make threads about TV shows by season. Since this is an international forum not everyone is viewing the same season at the same time. Also, this forum isn't that busy anyway.  ;)

hahahahahaha...... I was just kidding buddy, don't be so offensive.

Wait.. what? Do you know what offensive means?

I'm just saying that Morgan Freeman, or Forrest Whitaker here gets pissed at me so easily for my jokes. Go ahead, look into all my posts you'll find. P.S. - I try REAL hard not to be racist, because I'm a complete bastard when it comes to associates.

Yes I loved, and still love this show. It wasn't too edgy with it's comedy style but it had enough punch just to make it right. Pairing of cats and dogs have been done for years but not as well as this cartoon, I have to give the creators props for this as creating eps for this would be tough. Well making any show is tough but keeping it at a pg style rating was tough enough.

What do you mean by "edgy" Rodney?

TV / Re: Cartoon Classics.
« on: February 06, 2008, 04:09:02 pm »
Remember Gargoyles and GI-Joe?  Those were good cartoons.  As far as classics go, I wouldn't consider many of the aforementioned to be classics yet.  Classics to me are the old Warner Bros. Bugs Bunny cartoons.

To be honest that was the main point of the thread, but who really cares all cartoons are welcome even the ones from the Warner Bros. era. :)

Any cartoon show "could" be a classic, so yeah, you tell 'em Forrest Whitaker. jkjkjkjk
