Site News / Re: Working on a new podcast ... feedback requested

Personally I'd love to have a regular Steve podcast no matter the specifics of the gaming-subgenres. Honestly I think whatever excites or interests you would probably make the best experience for the listeners. So big +1 to the podcast coming back in any form (30 minutes is plenty).

Perhaps Ken Levine?

He gets interviewed by quite a few sites when it's time to press his games, but it would be cool to hear what Steve would have to ask him. I'd second the recommendation for Tim Schaefer, hearing that guy talk is quite entertaining. Also I'd toss out the name Ragnar Tørnquist (ooh asciiz) cause Dreamfall had some pretty unique decisions made, and finally the Portal devs, I don't even know their names, but hey, for the love of Jesus, they should be interviewed.

Podcasts / Re: How did you discover "Gaming Steve"?

Discovered through Evil Avatar where they I think posted an interview he did with Brian Reynolds from Big Huge Games about Rise of Legends. Not 100% about the interview, but definitely was Evil Avatar.

Anyone else think that Nobu sidestepped Steve's complaints about game balance? Loved the show, hope you have time in the future to do some more game reviews or retro reviews or even just to drop some names of games that you like or hear about that are interesting... a lot of great games like Darwinia, Dreamfall, the Darkness, Drake's Fortune, and other games that don't begin with D I wouldn't have picked up / even heard of if it weren't for your awenessifying.
