AFAIK Minicraft hasn't been updated since it was created, and it was originally made during a game jam in 48 hours. Giving it a new name also makes sense, since people might confuse it with Minecraft.

My city (Scale City) needs a ton of workers. If anyone builds a city near mine, zone a ton of residential and you will not be wanting for jobs.

I'm pretty sure none of the regional features are working; I haven't seen any interaction between cities (in this region and another of mine) other than ones that have been there since the last patch.

So this weekend was a beta weekend. I got in and have been playing a bit. It's limited to an hour-long demo before your city ends and you need to make a new one to keep playing.

The last SimCity I played was like 12 years ago so I don't have much to compare it to, but I've been having a lot of fun and am most definitely going to buying it, regardless of the online-only sheets people have been burping about. At the end of every hour-long session, I find myself wishing really badly that I could just keep playing... and I think that says a lot about how fun it is.

Anyone else get to try it?

Controlling your character is like trying to play a platformer by poking a NES pad with a 3-foot stick, and the interface is nigh-unusable. This game still needs a LOT of work before I'd consider spending any amount of money on it.

This looks very interesting. I like the scripting aspects - I wonder if I could use my programming skills to automate a bunch of stuff and become lord of all that I see before me.

Warcraft 3
Steam
League of Legends

Other than that it's just whatever I'd been playing recently or might play soon.

I finished my last final for my last semester of college a few days ago. Now I just gotta find a job and be an adult!

So lots of news places are calling it for Obama. Well, that was exciting.

I voted today! Hooray! Lots of random propositions I didn't understand on the California ballot, too. Luckily I brought a quarter with me.

The last two episodes of Season 4. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it: This show is pure genius.
