Has anyone played BOTS?

http://bots.acclaim.com/

Doesn't work on my computer, but it looks like it could be fun. Actually, I thought the company (Acclaim) was dead...

I admire Steve for devoting more attention to his 6-month old son and his new game project, than to me and other fans of his podcast. I would love to hear another episode (even if it's not Steve; I think it would be interesting to hear LadyM's voice at least once). But if I get to hear a session report about how Steve's toddler pwned him at a game, that would be worth the wait as well.

(Since the toddler has Steve's genes, the little Glicker tyke will probably have earned all the achievements on his daddy's Xbox 360 titles before his first birthday...)

Retro geek goodness: http://sweeptheleg.com/

Good bits that parody the 80s movie "Raising Arizona," too.

Interesting trivia: the lead singer of No More Kings is a professional video game animator...

You're lucky. My stuck song is usually "Fish Heads" by Barnes & Barnes.

Be careful what you choose to experience. It *will* come back to haunt you.  :)

While you're waiting for another Gaming Steve episode, you might find this interesting: Orson Scott Card interviewed on the Glenn and Helen show:

http://instapundit.com/archives2/2006/11/the_glenn_and_helen_show_orson_1.php

Glenn and Helen usually podcast about politics, but at about 3:45 into the episode until about 7:20, they talk about games, gamers, their literacy and affluence, and a forthcoming game based on Card's new novel (or maybe it's the other way around).

What other podcast or podcast excerpts have you found out there that helps tide you over while waiting for Steve's return?
