What do you mean FS?  I've got the double game, but did I miss out on extras?

Werechicken, are you posting to see yourself post? :)

It's not cheaper to replace a battery, if they're replaceable.  It's also much less of a hassle to take a screwdriver and spend ten minutes then have to bid, then win, then pay, then wait.

And anyway, I opened up a couple game paks, and some have batteries, and some don't.  So I can't anyway.  That, and I found on ebay that that game came in a double game pak with it's prequel, so I'm trying to get that.  But those damn bid snipers, Gosh!

Peace love dope!

I heard Steve mention a game in one of last few podcasts.  I forgot the name of it.

It's an RPG, I think it's for the Nintendo DS, and instead of directly controlling the main character, you influence him with the stylus and the microphone.

Does anyone rememebr the name of it?

Podcasts / Re: How did you discover "Gaming Steve"?

I learned about podcasts, which made me wonder if there were any gaming podcasts.  I wikipediaed, found a site that listed all the gaming podcasts, and this was near the top of the list.  I downloaded episode 31 and have been listening ever since.

I can save, and go to the title screen, and my save is there.
If I power down for < about 5 minute, when I come back up the save is there.  If I wait > about 10 minutes, the save is not there.

It acts the same on my GBA SP and my DS lite.

It's the battery.  There is no other logical explanation.

I don't know if it came from ebay or not.  Is there a way I can tell if it's a bootleg, and does it matter?

MetallicDragon, this is a a portable gaming forum, and a portable game question.  By the helpful attitude of most of the rest of the posters, I'm can only assume that it's alright to post this here.  Please try to be constructive.  Thank you.

My friend gave me Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrows for the DS at the same time he gave me the prequel for the GBA.  I can't save a game on the GBA version (well I can, but it's gone the next time I power up).  I didn't think much of it until I began to play the DS version.  I got ten minutes in and now I'm dying to play the GBA cart first.

So here I am :)

Thanks Krakow Sam, discussion was my secondary goal.

No worries Werechicken, your first post was nicer than it could've been.

I have to agree Kaze, but there are many who wouldn't.  But that's another thread. :)

Can it be done?  Can I just take any battery from another GBA game pak?

What fits well in the tri-blade slot on the GBA cart screw?

Gaming Steve, I heard you say recently that you are DM'ing a campaign out of Dungeon Magazine.  I was wondering if it was Shackled City, or Age of Worms, or something else.

I'm currently running my players through Shackled City.  They're all 13th level, and we're really having a lot of fun.

Who else here plays tabletop D&D?  Are there a lot of people?
