Silly Huckbuck, New Zealand isn't Mordor!

No, but the Lord of the Rings movies where recorded in New Zealand, and the location used for Mordor was in the northern part if I remember correctly.

And Antarctica isn't named Huck, it's named Antarctica!

Many claim Antarctica. I am one of them.

I used to do this all the time during class in school. I usually nail Europe pretty good. My weakness is Canada and Russia;

Yea I don't know what to think of this. Obviously HoN is going for LoLs business model as it seem to have worked well for them, but I am affraid what this might bring... So far it seems like I who bought the game when it costed something will have access to all heroes they ever release, but this Early Access concept scares me that it might not stay this way forever.

I play HoN over LoL mostly because:

*Faster paced
*More elements where skill and awareness plays in, such as denying and vectorbased skills
*No pay-to-win elements
*I prefer HoNs graphical style

So what do you guys think of the controversy that EVE seem to be going down the Pay to Win route? Are you in on the protest rallies? :P

Everything Else / Re: 2012 Elections

Not really. Sweden has got parties in the parliament that lie as far right as the American Democrats, and some so far left that they stopped calling themselves Communist not that long ago.

I am one of those Europeans who do not think American elections are very democratic at all, due to the fact that it is an election between two parts (no the independents hardly count) who stand relatively close to each other in political ideology. With that said I actually do think that Obama will be re-elected.

Sorry for taking time with the update. Lots of stuff going on now as I am all up in the exams, but it is soon over.

Updated the tech tree a bit however.

PC Games / Re: Morrowind

Morrowind's story is so good I didn't even realise what it was for years (possibly something to do with never completing it).
The first few times I played it I really had no idea who the 'bad guys' were at all. I thought it had something to do with Daedra, since I guess I was expecting something a little more along the lines of 'oh no the demons'.

Shame Skyrim looks to be a case of 'oh no the dragons' but at least Skyrim should have a less achingly generic by the numbers feel than Oblivion.

Apparently in the background of the first few TES games Cyrodil was meant to be covered in jungles. Beats me why they just tossed that concept out after the great reception Morrowind's alien world got.

I agree whole-heartedly. Todd Howard has said a few times that when at the concept stage for Oblivion they were heavily influenced by the Lord of the Rings movies so they were tempted to make a more standard fantasy setting. Seems they are kind of sticking to that with Skyrim. :(

EDIT: BTW, I plan to update the tech tree with new tech soon.

Just want to say that I am going away for the weekend, but I'll be back by Sunday so it is possible that I can update then. If not I will do it early next week, if you have gotten your posts ready that is. ;)

Zia gave birth to a healthy baby girl!

A lot of food is produced, which is joyous to the people, but the bad means for storing and conserving it leads to a lot of food getting spoiled. This food is thrown away and is therefor completely wasted.

Ranh was executed, as is tradition.

Your people is starving! They are growing uncontent and the order or the land has gone down. Many refuse to work, and some become sick from malnutrition.

A few people have started to preach against your familys leadership. An uproar might be brewing.

Your research has been going slower due to the fact that your population is starving.
