Meh, I say that both shows are offensive. But only because they have been so unfunny for so long that it offends my sense of justice. I mean, how many more stupid 8 minute chicken-fights(Family Guy) or "gory" head shots(SouthPark) will I end up sitting through before everyone else gets as bored of the show as I have?

Oh well, it doesn't really matter. At least there are a couple good shows out there to watch.

Edit: Oh and is it just me, or does Family Guy seem to be popping up on practically every channel!

I know you from the old Creation Corner, but I don't see you post much out of the section.

Ok, that's what I was thinking too. It is left to interpretation, but I do agree that it was ignored too.

How do you know that? Was there some sort of interview with Alan Moore where he mentioned it or something? I thought it ended with the panel of the smiley-face t-shirt guy at the newspaper office.

Edit: Razonatair, why would you have preferred the nuclear war over Veidt's victory?  (Just wondering, I've heard a lot of people say that)

But who would listen to Rorschach anyways? (Due to his insanity). He was a rather unpopular and seen as crazy. Contrast that to Adrian Veidt who is a popular business leader with massive influence. People probably wouldn't take the journal seriously.

Th could be totally ignored by the public. It's being printed in a small right-wing rag that very few people would take seriously. So the journal might, or might now change anything. That's why I liked the ending so much, it left what happens up to the viewer.

As for the pansy death, The Doc seemed pretty sure of what he had to do. I really don't think he would have been able to trick what is essentially a God. When he decided to not compromise, he sealed his fate and he knew it. Rorshach decided that it was better to die without compromising rather than live a lie. That's pretty badass to me.

Wait, so the Church wasn't forced to perform the ceremony, they just lost their tax-exempt status?

Well if Civil Ceremonies were legal in New Jersey at the time, then the Church could be seen as "Why let a Church that doesn't want to go along with state laws get tax-exempt status from the state".

In that case the Church still doesn't have to perform the ceremony, they just have to start paying taxes.

(In case something was factually incorrect about tax-exempt status, I'll just point out that I know very little about it).

While possibly a bit off-topic, it still pertains to the gay marriage argument...

I don't really see why the churches are so opposed to it. If gay marriage was legalized(correct me if I'm wrong) wouldn't churches still have the right to not perform them? I'm pretty sure that some churches don't perform marriages if there is a massive age difference, or if one of the spouses is not the same religion. Legalizing gay marriage wouldn't force churches to do anything, it would just allow other churches to perform them and have the union recognized by the government.

I wouldn't really want to be the main antagonist of the RP myself, but if I would be able to work with another more experienced rp'er then I would be happy to make a communist character.

Edit: This is only relevant if Razonatair is wrong of course :P

Granted. Your rabid puppy bites you and you must go through some very painful shots.

I wish that darn sniper would get out of my lawn.

Are people allowed to play the Communists? Or are all of the players on the American side?

Andrew Ryan:
Great, is every post about Watchmen now going to be about some blue mans penis?

I didn't really care about it that much. I see my penis on a daily basis and it doesn't freak me out.

I mean, it does freak out all the people on the bus though.

I'm currently reading a little pulp Western called Kildoon: Bounty Man.

It's actually kinda cool.

If you don't like what someone said than just ignore it and move on. There are other topics to look at.

No. If the mods do nothing, I will.

Now look at what I'm about to do. I see that talking to you is pointless, and since it's the internet, I will now perform a trick called "Not Posting Anymore!"
