Console Games / Should I buy a gamecube?

Ok, so I'm just wondering if you guys think if it's worth it to buy a gamecube.  They're only around 99 dollars right now and they have a few good games that I would be interested in buying.  Is it worth it?  If you think I should get one, could you guys maybe suggest a few games I should get along with it?  These are the games I was thinking of buying If I got one

Super Smash Bros. Melee
Mario Sunshine
Zelda Windwaker
Metriod Prime 1 or 2 (Or both?)
Resident Evil Four

So yeah, I'd appreciate any advice / help you guys could give.  Thanks.

PC Games / A new Sid Meier game you say?

Firaxis is making two new games, Sid Meier's Railroads and CivCity:  Rome.  They also announced an expansion pack for Civ IV titled Warlords.  Anyway, I'm pretty excited about this, Firaxis games are always good.  To me, Sid Meier's Railroads seems like a recreation of RailRoad Tycoon which was an utterly amazing game.  Nothing terribly orriginal with CivCity:  Rome either, but I think it's still worth to be excited about.

PC Games / Battlefield 2

I picked up battlefield 2 today and I have to say I'm very dissapointed.  The gameplay itself is not bad, but the server browser makes finding a game so hard it might as well not matter what the gameplay is like.  Is it really to hard for them to design a nice, easy to use server browser?  I honestly spent 30 minutes trying to connect to a game (Most of the time was spent trying to create an account, apparently my email address was already in use..  Don't know how that happened). 

Anyone else feel the same way?

I wasn't excited about this game before now, but I just read this preview on gamespot and saw some of the videos there and I have to say the game looks amazing.  I can't wait the try it out.  Any of you guys looking forward to this one?

My new creature, the dasofpapodaugpodvpuaojpaodoapfdhoapvnhaophvpoahvfdzorz.  It took me 16 hours to draw.  Some features it has include the ability to control gravity, attachable jetpack, lazer beams that shoot from its eyes, etc.  I can't wait to make this baby in spore.

This is a fun little game that was on another forum I visit

One poster makes a wish, the next poster then corrupts that wish and makes his own wish.
For example:

Poster 1:  I wish I knew the meaning of life
Poster 2:  Granted but it turns out to be so mind numbingly weird that you spend the rest of your life wondering how the hell it could possibly be the meaning of life.

Than poster two would make a wish and the process would repeat.  I'll start it off

I wish I could read peoples mind.

Alright, I have a question. If we don't have a wireless connection at home, will we still be able to log onto the internet with the Nintendo Revolution? It would kind of suck if that was the case..

PC Games / UT2004 mod to be sold on.. Steam?

Apparently, the UT2004 mod Red Orchestra is going to be sold on steam.  The mod was the winner of the "Make something unreal contest" (http://www.unrealtournament.com/ut2003/contest.php) hosted by Epic.

I find this pretty interesting.  The same thing happened with the mods Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat and they both became insanely popular...  I don't know though, it seems kind of low.  Paying for something that used to be free?

Gamespot did a small artical on spore.  Theres some new information (the thing that cought my eyes was that you can choose to be a carnivore or herbivor).  So yea, check it out
