Hey everyone! Been a while since I posted here. Glad to see some of the old gang still around.

Any of you heard about No Man's Sky? I looks like it's going to be amazing! The video below was posted last year after the VGX awards, where they first premiered the game. It's going a bit farther than Spore did as a space exploration game. Everything in No Man's Sky is procedurally created. You also play in a Universe, not just a galaxy.

I created a fan site for the game I am so excited about it. You all should swing by and sign up on the message forums.

Well, I was walking through Target a few minutes ago and saw a sign for the Creature Creator coming on the 19th (yes, they have it listed for the 19th). What caught my eye was the part about Exclusive Creature Downloads, so I took out my camera phone and snapped a couple of pictures. I just got home and looked at the pictures and noticed a small bit of text I missed while at Target. "Internet Connection Required For Gameplay". Uh, what the heck is that about? I thought you could play without having to be connected to the Internet? Did they remove that from Spore, but left it in the Creature Creator? This has me concerned.
Are we going to go through all this again? I hope not.
I took the pictures to show off the bit about Exclusive Creatures and the $5 off of Spore, but after seeing the Internet Required part, it changes my whole post.

Here are the pictures below that I took.

Spore: General / The Austin Chronicle: Will Wright Interview

I found this article and thought I would share it. Haven't seen it before. It's not very long and doesn't have a ton of new info, but it's an interesting read.
